Looking forward to the arrival of my new tool — it’s been shipped! Glad I watched this new video as the spacing of the tip appears to be closer to the paper (double dime) than the old tool (double nickle)

    Thanks!

I seem to be having a problem with all the video tutorials they take so long to download or don’t download at all. Any suggestions please?

Sheila, Have you updated your Quicktime lately? That seems to be a program that needs updated on a frequent basis.

Are you using Internet Explorer? Some people have better success using Google Chrome or FireFox. Both are free downloads easily found on the Internet.

Some people notice that a certain time of day works better for watching the videos. It could have something to do with the amount of users on your internet service. Kind of like how trying to use your cell phone at 5 pm on Friday is almost impossible in certain areas. 🙂

Finally, make sure you try the Low Res version of the video. It is in a smaller format and usually works for dial up.

I just got mine today too, but I seem to be having a lot of difficulty in getting the pens centered. I tried centering the large barrel Sharpie (fine point) and the thinner barrel Sharpie (ultra fine point), and could never get either of them to be exactly centered. I know there is probably a learning curve, but if anyone has any tips or tricks please post.

    Maribeth-
Make sure the pen is pushed all the way down into the barrel of the pen tool as far as it will go. It may help to take the pen tool apart and slide the pen into each piece separately. You may also want to wrap a bit of tape around the thinner end part of the sharpie. It may help to watch the video where Christine discusses all of these steps.
