Lest you think I am the Special Effects Pro, let me state right away that the title does not refer to any ‘super’ powers I might have! However, the Inspiration Studio Pro software does make me feel like I am a pro at creating special effects with my cutter. Not only that but all the special effects tools are available to me with the click of a button.
I love this new feature! Bam! I can instantly turn any design into a charm. Boom! I can immediately add an outline. Wow! Look at me make a pop-up for a card in seconds. The tools in the Special Effects window let you add shadows and blocking mats without even having to think about it. How cool is that!
There are ten options available in the Special Effects window. Not only are the most loved and favorite tools there like Kiss Cut and Zig Zag scissors but you can also quickly make a ribbon slide and turn pictures into puzzles. Be sure to watch the video to see what is so special about the Special Effects button. I’m betting that you will be impressed too.

My pazzles doesn’t have the special effects button. Instead it has a button for shapes. What to do?
Karen, you probably have the original Inspiration Studio software that comes with your machine. The Special Effects tools are available only in the Inspiration Studio Pro software.
Several of the features are still available in your software though- like puzzles, outline, shadow, and kiss cut to name a few. Check out the Video Library to see videos on those features and where to find them.
