Pilgrim Hat and Bonnet

Boy and Girl Pilgrim Hats

Maybe it’s just me, but I’m a little partial to miniature things made of paper. These Thanksgiving Pilgrim hats are no exception. I think they are so sweet and I can’t wait to make a dozen of them. They would be so cute on each child’s plate at the kid’s table; a hat for the boys and a bonnet for the girls. Or, attach the hat version to a headband for a fun photo prop.

If you leave off the top of the Pilgrim Hat and slip a 9 oz paper cup inside it is the perfect little treat holder to tide the kids over until dinner is served. Fill it with popcorn or pretzel rods for a snack, or crayons for an activity.

However you choose to highlight these Pilgrim hats, I’m sure they will impress your guests and add a bit of cute to your Thankgiving celebration.

I love them!!! I’m planning to make them bigger for a thanksgiving photo booth. It’s going to be a lot of fun.

I love these! Thanks so much! They’ll be so cute on the Thanksgiving table…and maybe some bigger ones for the photo op! I’ll go see if they can be used for a pattern to sew… 🙂
