Las Vegas Retreat was FABULOUS!

We had a wonderful time at the Las Vegas retreat! Klo and I were blessed with a great group of gals and I can't thank you all enough for coming. We would love to have the rest of you join us at one of the upcoming retreats. The friendships formed will last a lifetime.

What Can the Craft Room ...

I will admit I’m not much of a shopper. In fact, I’m the kind of girl that goes shopping to get that must have outfit for a special event or occasion with the hopes I don’t have to go shopping again for a while. I love the whole process of shopping online, because it keeps me at home in my PJ’s on Saturday mornings, and who doesn’t love that?! Unfortunately there can be times that I visit my favorite online stores and wonder how I missed the clearance special, or why I never noticed those great pair of shoes that were 40% off last week. I want your experience with our website to be about getting the most bang for your buck, and there is so much more to take advantage of than just visiting what’s new on the front page.

Alligator Valentine's Day Card

2012 Valentine’s Day Project Roundup

We hope you enjoyed this year's Valentines projects as much as we enjoyed making and sharing them. Here's a roundup of everything we did this year so you can have a look at everything and pick your favorites to make. Happy Valentines from all of us at Pazzles!

Valentines Party Set with Subtract Weld

Valentine with Subtract Weld

Wow! The actual DAY, Valentine's Day, really snuck up on me! I have been making valentine themed projects for Pazzles for a month now but totally missed the fact that I needed to get things done for my Grandkids for today. As I was working on redoing the video tutorial for Subtract Weld, it occurred to me that it was the perfect technique to use to create a quick and easy table setting for Valentine's day.

No Classes this week

Just a reminder, I am in Las Vegas at the Pazzles Retreat and will not be traveling home until Monday, so there are no classes this week. I look forward to seeing you next week, but since we aren't having a class this week, how about catching up on past classes in Klo's Classroom or watch some Video's you haven't seen, or need a refresher on.

Making Shaped Bags

Making dimensionals can be very intimidating but add the complexity of SHAPED dimensionals and FORGET IT! Well, at least that may be how you feel, but the truth is that you can make some stunning shaped dimensionals, like this acorn bag, without being a grand master in the Inspiration Studio software.

Classes-February 5 & 6

There will NOT be a class on Sunday. (I will be traveling home that day) Classes will be at regular times on Monday. This week we are going to be adding a new twist to spirals. So come learn and create with me on Monday at 5am CST or 1pm CST. Be sure and check the Time Conversion Chart to find out what time it starts in your area. If you have never joined us for a class all you need to do is go to Klo's Classroom and enter the classroom. Just sign in as a guest and enjoy.

February Challenge

Your Valentine can be as simple or as elaborate as you want, just do something! The only rule is NO recycling from last year! Remember the point of the challenge is to get you doing new things with your Inspiration!

This clever and very easy card reveals a monster when you open the card. I am sure some little monster in your life will love this card!

Keeping Extra Supplies on Hand

I’m often asked what additional items should be purchased or kept on hand at all times to use with the Inspiration. I would love to make a list that included all of our tools, several packs of vinyl (we have some amazing colors, you should check them out!) every color of rhinestone and our CD’s too. We all know it’s not necessary to have all those things, but wouldn’t it be nice!? By just keeping the basics on hand you’ll never be in a pinch.

January 29, 30 Classes

Pressure Settings

Spring isn’t here yet, but if you saw my closet you would all be telling me, “Tatum, it’s time to do some spring cleaning”! The problem is that as soon as I throw something away, it’s just a few short weeks or days later that I need it again. This happens with clothes, recipes, newspapers, you name it — I hate throwing things away but I struggle to keep it all organized! In my attempt to do some spring cleaning on my computer here at work, I was able to find a document on the pressure settings that I use for specific materials. I was also pleasantly surprised when Amanda pointed out to me that we have a similar document with many more materials and they are all neatly organized.
