Happy Summer Window Cling Letters with Therm O Web Mounting Sheets

Adhesive may not come in pretty colors or patterns, but it is an important part of every project. It is, after all, the glue that holds a project together! We are so impressed by the huge variety of adhesives available from Therm O Web. They have thought of everything. I had the opportunity to play with and cut a few of their specialty adhesives recently and was thrilled with the outcome.

Chalkboard Vinyl Clothespin Art HangersAt Pazzles we are always looking for cut-able products, and Therm O Web Mounting Adhesive cuts beautifully. I used it to create patterned paper window clings using Pazzles Window Cling material. Simply peel the backing from one side of the Mounting Adhesive sheet and place it on the back of your patterned paper. Next, peel the backing away from the other side of the Mounting Adhesive and place the non-cling side of your window cling onto the exposed adhesive. Leave the window cling backing on. Place the entire ‘sandwich’ patterned paper side down on your cutting mat. Select mirror on the Cut Control Panel before cutting. You will need to bump up your blade length and your pressure to get through all layers of adhesive and paper. You now have customized window clings! Create a whole alphabet and laminate them for fun alphabet fridge clings that match your décor. Use them to practice spelling words or leave messages for your children on the bathroom mirror.

The second project is one I am excited about as well. Using Pazzles Chalkboard Vinyl, make a customizable art gallery for your children. By attaching a clothespin to vinyl with Therm O Web PeelNStick you create a sturdy clip for notes or artwork that can easily be removed from the wall without damage.  To make your own, cut any shape you’d like from Pazzles Chalkboard Vinyl. I used a Tag from the Craft Room Library. Apply your vinyl to the wall. Next measure a clothespin so you have exact measurements and use your Inspiration Studio software to draw a rectangle the same size as your clothespin. For each clothespin cut one piece of patterned paper for the front and one piece of PeelNStick for the back. Peel away the double-sided adhesive backing, apply one side to the clothespin, then peel away the other side of the backing and stick the clothespin to the vinyl. Who says artwork walls are just for kids? Use these to display layouts or photos as well!

And now for the fun part! Therm O Web sent us a packet of adhesives for one lucky winner. Be sure to enter the drawing for your chance to win.
