Pazzles designer Tatum created the beautiful card you see above with the free camouflage heart file. You may use the free file for your card, but it is not a requirement. We've also added a beautiful military themed Proud To Serve Cutting Collection to the Pazzles store which you may purchase at 50% off today only.
We hope you enjoyed Christine's class and learned something new! It's time for another free file and coordinating challenge. Once you have your card making supplies spread out in front of you, do you ever feel like you don't know where to start? Sometimes you need a little direction to get you started. Sketches provide that perfect starting point and are one of the easiest ways for a beginner to get started. If sketches are great, then cuttable sketches are fabulous! All the work is done. As you've probably guessed, this hour's free file is a sketch and a variety of card sentiments. We asked the Pazzles Design Team to inspire you with their creations and as usual they've blown us away!
We hope you are feeling inspired to create. Here's another great idea for you to try! Sometimes two great things come together and it can change the world! Think peanut butter and jelly, Big Macs and special sauce, or Han Solo and Chewbacca. Today a new dynamic duo is born with the pairing of a Miss Kate Cuttables image and a brand new Fun Fold Card Base.
Join Christine in the classroom at 4:00 MDT for a live class on making Cut-Away Cards. Click here to watch the recorded Cut Away Cards Class.
Hour two starts now! If you are a Craft Room member be sure and join us in the Member Chat area where we are getting to know one another and playing games! We get many requests for shaped cards in various forms and they are always a hit when new ones are released. We can't possibly create a shaped card from every shape in the Craft Room Library, but you can! Imagine the possibilities when you can turn any shape into a card. We have an excellent video in the Craft Room that shows the technique for doing so. We've unlocked this video so it is available for anyone to view : Making Shaped Cards. To get you started Pazzles Designer Michelle has made an acorn shaped card perfect for fall gift giving. It can also be made smaller and used as a place card for holiday meals.
Welcome to World Card Making Day (WCMD) 2013! We are excited to have you join us for the next 5 hours. We promise to entertain and inspire you! To start off we have a special treat for you! Pazzles Designer Klo Oxford got her hands on this brand-new Chamberry Collection from Adornit and she created this beautiful card to share with you. She designed the card specifically to highlight the shape and design of the sentiment sticker found on the Choose Happy Sticker sheet. You will love this unique card she designed for this hour's free file!
Time to get this party started! The first file and challenge will go live shortly! If you are […]
We'll get this party started TODAY at 2pm MDT! See you then!
I always have a lot of fun creating projects, but something about this one had me buzzing around the office chasing people with these super cute glittery, hairy legged spiders!! Don’t exterminate these bugs! Instead, lavish guests with spooky fun the moment they step up to the door. They’re bound to get caught up in your web of creativity when you host your spooky Halloween party get together. Let the smiles and maybe even a few frightful screams begin… when you have this spider wreath hanging ready to greet all who dare enter!
Just a reminder there is no class this week. I hope you will take some time to watch some past classes or videos. Spend an hour with your Inspiration and learn or create something.
While this may not be an exciting addition to your skill set, it is an important aspect of using your Inspiration Studio Software. Taking apart your file and then putting it back together again can seem overwhelming with large layered projects. This video walks you through the steps and gives you some great tips. ~Michelle It is funny how we can so clearly see the way a finished scrapbook page is put together. There is a bottom layer which is usually a full sheet of cardstock. Then there is another large layer: maybe a scalloped circle. Over that is a title with a mat: 2 more layers. The title has a flourish; there are some cute flowers and leaves and frames for holding photos. It is layer over layer that we have no problem understanding.
Fall is my favorite time of the year. I love to decorate for fall and I love the colors of fall. I was born in the fall, so this quick project was right up my alley. I took several files from the Craft Room Library and combined them to make this cute picture home decor piece for any room. I’m putting mine in the guestroom. The files I used were the Cowgirl Hat, Cowgirl Boots, Pumpkin and Autumn Harvest Wheat Bundle. I didn’t change any of the files except for the cowgirl hat, which I welded the two black pieces into one and added a slit for the pumpkin. I did omit the stem on the pumpkin, resized all the files to fit my 8' x 10' frame and added this adorable stamped face. I used two different fonts for the saying. I layered cardstock and patterned paper and then glued all the parts onto the top layer. Add it to an 8" x 10" frame and it's done.
Congratulations to tabecker for winning the September Challenge. September was about change and what that meant to you, tabecker has a first grandbaby coming and look at the fun things she did to create a special place for those big changes. If you haven't taken time to look at the fun challenge projects that were posted, be sure and take a few minutes and go look in the September Challenge Folder at the fabulous work everyone has done. Tabecker will be choosing her prize from the list on the Challenge page.
I'll admit I tend to jump on the bandwagon pretty easily when it comes to trends. I've had a shaped photos phase, and an eyelet phase, and a chevron phase and now I've moved on to the chalkboard art trend. It began making an appearance in advertisements and on websites and has now made it's way into the scrapbooking world and home décor. Many of the latest released scrapbook collections have elements of this trend. My Mind's Eye Chalk Studio and Simple Stories December Documented come to mind. Die Cuts With A View has a Chalkboard Paper Stack and Canvas Corp sells sheets of Chalkstock.
