I have always wanted to create a layout that used the Pen Tool as the background and journaling. With the new Pen Tool, I knew that now was the time to do that.
I'll admit it. I've been sucked into the chalkboard art craze and wanted to create my own little mini masterpieces for cards. Let's be honest, drawing these by hand would take way longer than I want to spend on one card, but drawing them in the Inspiration Studio Software and letting the Pen Tool do the work, sounds just right!
You won't have to travel far to join us from the comfort of your own home. Have your computer and internet connection ready. Make sure your Pazzles Inspiration is ready to cut and come learn with others from around the globe!
I have always said that the Pen Tool was my favorite tool for the Inspiration. Now, Pazzles has made my drawing dreams come true with the release of our new Pen Tool! This new Pen Tool is amazing and I am so proud to have had just a tiny part in its development. (That means I got to test it out.)
11 floral images that are all single stroke, which makes them perfect for drawing, embossing, and distressing plus they include a die cut line outline.
The lucky random winner of the Bazzill Basics Freedom pack is... Valerie Himel! Congratulations, Valerie. Be on the lookout for an email from us (please check your junk folder). Thanks everyone for participating.

Today we're discussing Elegant and Classy style. This style is at once dramatic and polished, and with both flair and grace. Think Jackie O and Audrey Hepburn but in paper form.
... we're opening this box soon!
Life is so busy and some days I just want to send a quick card to a friend for no reason at all. I admire crafters who make decorative, intricate cards but sometimes time and budget need to be a factor. I found this Purse/Handbag cutting file in the Pazzles Craft Room Library and decided to make it into a shaped card.
... do you know what's in the box?
Most of us want to make the cards we give to anyone in our family as special as we possibly can. I often am told that cards for Dad can be a challenge. Maybe it is because we are trying to say so much in one little card, or maybe we want the message to be unique and not silly or trivial. Whatever the reason, it seems that no card will ever say it all.
... any guesses on what's in the box?
Celebrate Independence Day in the backyard with paper pretties and party accessories! We paired up with Bazzill Basics Paper to create this special spread. We used red, white, and blue Bazzill cardstocks in different textures and their new patterned paper collection called 'Freedom.'
Thanks for creating along with us this week as we build our Father's Day Tool Belt. Today is the final set of tools: a hammer, screwdriver, level and two pencils. These images are simply cut out and pieced together, simple as that!
I will show you how to use a simple shape and make a simple and easy background for a layout, card or project. Sometimes the simplest things make the biggest impact. Join us starting Sunday at 7pm, Monday at 5am and 1pm (all times are USA Central, Chicago Time). If you are not sure what time that is in your location, go to the World Time Conversion site to see what time you will join us. To join, simply go to Klo’s Classroom, then Enter Classroom and sign in as a guest.
No tool set is complete without a measuring tape, and what could be better than a candy-filled one? It may not actually be able to serve its purpose as a measuring device but it will make dad smile when he sees it clipped to the Fathers Day Tool Belt. Instructions are included with this part of the project because the measuring tape requires some assembly.
Today you begin to fill the pockets of Dad's tool belt by spelling the word D-A-D using common tools that every Dad can recognize. Make the treat even better by backing each tool with one of his favorite candies. A sweet treat for a sweet guy, what father can resist that message?
This week we are focusing on the men in our lives with a tool belt gift set. Each day this week we will add another element to the belt and by the weekend your belt will be complete and ready for gift giving.

This month we are going to do something a little different. Instead of giving a project or subject, we are going to give you a color challenge. I researched the trending colors for 2013 and found four fabulous palettes at the Sherwin Williams website. Your challenge for the month is to choose from one of the palettes. Whether you love the moody colors from Midnight Mystery palette, or the earthy tones from Honed Vitality palette or the bold pastels from Vintage Moxie palette or the bright and vibrant colors from High Voltage palette, have fun creating your project, layout or card using the palette of your choice. I look forward to seeing your creations. When loading your project to the Challenge Folder, please put which palette you chose in the description. Be sure and post your project here in the June Challenge Folder. Don’t forget, the winner is chosen by random drawing, so everyone has the same chance to win. If you don’t remember what the wonderful challenge prizes are, go take a look on the Challenge Page and see what you will pick if you win. Not sure how to post to the Pazzles Challenge Folder or any other Pazzles Album? Here are the instructions to teach you.
