Whether you are creating a centerpiece, place card or a marker for food, these adorable trees on a stick will make your holiday bright and happy.

Write Merry Christmas on the chalkboard piece to use in any versions as a nice holiday gift for neighbors and co-workers!

They also can be used to create centerpieces!

Supplies:
Gather enough of the following to make your choice of elements for the number of your guests:

Trees:
12” x 12” cardstock weight solid papers – I used a teal from the Craft Smith Cool Neutrals Paper Pad 48 sheets (for trees)
Wooden skewers – about ⅛ inch diameter, 11.75 inches long
Glue dots – one for each modeling compound base

Place Cards:
Kraft Paper Cardstock (for place cards outline pieces)
12” x 12” Die Cuts With a View Premium Stack Chalk Cardstock (for place cards name pieces)
Craft Wire – 12 inches per place card (I used Darice Craft Designer Permanently Colored Copper Wire 26 gauge)
Low temp hot glue sticks or glue stick or glue dots

Bases:
For Young Kids – Modeling Compound Bases:
Modeling compound, single color tub (such as Play-Doh®) – 1 for each young kid guest
Coordinating scrapbook weight papers (for the covers of the modeling compound – I used paper from the Die Cuts With a View Printed Paper Stack 10 Pack)
For Older Kids/Adults – Treat Jar Bases:
8-ounce Mason/Ball jars (such as Anchor Hocking Half-Pint Glass Canning Jar Set, 12pk)
Regular mouth daisy Mason/Ball jar lids
