Box Envelope

Ever wonder if those great works of art you mail to someone arrives as beautiful as when you made it?  I recently made the adorable Floating Butterfly Rainbow card (with modifications) for my sister. I couldn’t hand deliver the card, and I was concerned my floating butterflies would flatten and lose the effect. So, I created this box envelope and mailed it. The card arrived in perfect condition! HOWEVER, since this is a box shaped envelope, I did have to pay parcel post for it. HINT: Remember to address it prior to assembly.

In addition to the Flowing Butterfly Rainbow card, you may find that you like this box envelope card with some of these other masterpieces.

Sorry for the delay, I’ve been out of town. Yes, I used 110# Georgia Pacific cardstock for this envelope. I wouldn’t recommend anything lighter so that it maintains it’s shape during mailing.
