Scrap Paper Petals Canvas

Paper scraps, an integral part of our craft collection are often neglected! Remember all those moments that you just couldn’t throw a piece of scrap paper because it was too precious and believed that you could use it somewhere? Well, here is a masterpiece project that will make you happy, its time to pull out those beautiful scraps!

I have designed a chromatic flower to fit a canvas, created a stencil and arranged each and every petal inside the stencil to get the perfect flower canvas. I wanted a stark contrast to all the colorful scraps that I was using so I chose my go to color black as the background and painted it with chalk paint. Then I placed the stencil that I have cut with our Pazzles, this stencil will help us place each petal exactly where it should be.

Now to the fun part, take a bunch of petals of the same paper and with the help of our file place them in empty spaces of the stencil. I love this step so much, I think I can do this forever! I strongly suggest that you first place all the petals before sticking them. Use a strong adhesive and stick them to the canvas. Time to remove the stencil and unveil your beautiful flawless paper petal canvas. Go on, hang it in that cozy corner of your home that you just love!

Supplies:
Tape or ruler to measure the canvas
Thick cardstock or plastic sheet
Any paint for background – Black chalk paint
Painter tape or washi tape
8 different scrap paper sheets
Tim Holtz Scissor
Strong Adhesive
