Christmas Front Door cut with the Pazzles Inspiration Vue

Front Door Box

The front door on this box opens to reveal a hidden compartment and the two-side windows are also boxes so you can give your recipient a triple treat. I was thinking hot cocoa in the center, mini marshmallows in one window and candy canes in the other window box. I also think the front door box would make a wonderful treat box for a new homeowner!

Gingerbread Man Box cut with the Pazzles Inspiration Vue

Gingerbread Man Box

This gingerbread man/woman box is just cute as can be. Though I’ve given you several choices in decorations, you can also make your own custom decorations. Maybe a heart instead of buttons. Let your children decorate the gingerbread man/woman topper how they like before gluing it onto the box top (think glitter…lots of glitter…lol) to give to a teacher or grandparent.

Candy Cane Box cut with the Pazzles Inspiration Vue

Weekend of Giving: Candy Cane ...

I am always looking for small gifts to give to friends, my kid’s teachers, neighbors etc. So I made three boxes that will let me give them treats in packaging that I know will be original. Over the weekend I will be sharing a new box with you every day, starting with today! Come back tomorrow and Sunday for my gingerbread man and front door boxes that I think you will love just as much!

Tree Puzzle Box

Tree Puzzle Box

This tree box is extra special because the trunk and the tree top are two separate boxes so you can add multiple treats!

Haunted House Shadow Box

Haunted House Shadow Box

What is scarier than a creepy, old haunted house? Nobody knows where its owner could be lurking, and don’t even think about going up into the attic! EEK!!

Electronic Key Fob/Ring Box

My daughter got her driver’s license this summer.  It’s an all new experience for me as she is my oldest. Of course she is having the time of her life, while I sit at home and worry about her safety…lol.  As you probably guessed she is going through gas like its water! I made this fun electronic key ring box to surprise her with a gas gift card.  You could also add a gift card for new tires or to a local repair/auto shop. Or, if you really want to surprise your recipient, you could put a key to a new car inside!

Paper Checkers and Chess Board

I love playing board games with my family. It’s a great way to spend time with them and have fun at the same time.  One of the games my kids love the most is checkers.  I created this checkers game to celebrate the fun we have playing it.  The neat thing about this checker board is that you can create it in any colors you like.  You can also add anything to the tops of the pieces instead of the traditional stars and crowns. Think, pink and purple with flowers and hearts, or maybe actual pictures of your families faces. You can use the crown file I’ve included and take a picture of them wearing the crown for the king side of the checker.

Pineapple Box

The pineapple is the national symbol of hospitality. It started way back in Columbus’s Day. He discovered the fruit and brought it back to the states, but farmers couldn’t figure out a way to make it grow outside its normal environment. The fruit quickly became an expensive commodity as it was not easy to ship without spoiling. Only honored and distinguished guests were gifted the extremely expensive whole pineapples and mostly by royalty. Even though today the pineapple is readily available, it still remains a symbol of welcome.

Paper Umbrella and Flowers Garden ...

An umbrella wreath full of vibrant beautiful flowers. Makes a fun baby/wedding shower decoration or decrease the umbrella’s size and add candy inside it for a fun party favor!

Dimensional Paper Picture Frames

These fun frames have a dual purpose. They are not only frames, but boxes too. I was very excited about this project because, like many other projects in the Craft Room, their versatility is almost endless.  You can leave them as plain as you like, or really dress them up.  Check out the frames section under the decorative header in the Craft Room. You can use some of those files to decorate your frames. I think the Circus Tent file or the Choo Choo file would be really cute.   Adding something as simple as a name and a basketball, baseball, or the like would make great team gifts, and remember you still have the box part to add treats to! How about adding a graduation cap to one for a grad gift!  Another idea is to shrink them and use them for table markers/favors.  They can be the same theme or completely different.
