Example Project
Challenge #1
Use this sketch to complete a scrapbook page that features some kind of special inking technique. Examples include: acrylic paints, mists, alcohol markers, watercolor—whatever you can come up with that goes beyond inking the edges of your page. Feel free to adapt the sketch to any size you would like (8 1/2″ x 11″, 8″ x 8″ etc.) or to adapt it to fit other sizes of photos.
Watercolor Technique (Example Layout by Michelle)
I’ve just recently discovered this fun watercolor technique that allows you to make you own paper for die cutting.
- 1. First choose your coordinating colors of ink. I used Prima Chalk Edgers for my ink. Dab and swirl the ink all over a piece of clear acetate.
- 2. Using a mister, spray water on the acetate and allow it to sit for a moment so the colors can melt into one another.
- 3. Place a smooth piece of cardstock face down on the acetate. Rub your hands over it gently to help pick up the colors. Carefully peel the paper off the acetate and allow it to dry.

Could someone please tell me what the file name of this file is? It didn’t download into the right folder on my computer and I can’t locate it without the proper file name.
