I love to give personalized or handmade gifts, but the time factor is always my downfall. I usually have good intentions but end up running around the store in a panic the night before an event looking for something I can give as a gift.
After returning from a great trip to England and Ireland, I decided to celebrate those memories by making a tea and napkin box.
School lunch is a big deal in the life of an elementary student. My kids love cold lunch as the hot lunch choices are not always to their liking, and my daughter likes to eat the same exact thing every single day. We spent some time this weekend picking out the perfect lunchboxes for the new school year and making sure their names were written on everything. I have one more little trick up my sleeve to make lunchtime fun and that is where today's project comes in.

Just a reminder there is no class this week. I hope you will take some time to watch […]
We have had a lot of requests for more projects using the Engraving Tool. I knew I wanted to do a video on it but I wanted it to be different than what I had done in the past. When I am stuck for ideas, I like to wander the aisles of the craft store to see what inspires me. Recently, I discovered that sequins are coming back in style in a big way, literally.
I recently visited a local paper crafting show and saw some amazing cards on display. I saw several cards based on the style of a Rocker Card and thought this would be an easy design to create using my Inspiration Studio software.
Today we are discussing the modern graphic style which features crisp clean images, lots of white space and a side of cute.

Just a reminder there is no class this week. I hope you will take some time to watch some past classes or videos. Spend an hour with your Inspiration and learn or create something.
Thanks for being patient with us while we were in Maintenance Mode. Now that we're back, you're probably excited to see the big changes we were working on. Let me give you the rundown. These upgrades are going to knock your socks off! Are you ready? Here we go! You already know that Pazzles Craft Room has one of the biggest cutting file libraries on the web. Now, our Library features SVG files right alongside the WPC files.
The challenge for this month is using fonts or numbers in a unique way. You can use them as a creative element on a page or project, or use them as the base. Just have fun and get cutting. Want to find some more fun fonts that are out there? Be sure and go check out this post on the forums where there are a lot of links to great font resources.
Pazzles Craft Room will be down for maintenance beginning at approximately 10am Mountain Standard Time, on Thursday, August 8, 2013. Maintenance could last 2-3 hours. Thank you for your understanding. Need something to do during the downtime? Join us on Facebook, Pinterest, Instagram, Twitter, and YouTube!
I decided to create a card for my mother this month. I created this card using a 6 ½ x 5 ½ base card and the Scallop Mat cutting file found in the gallery. I then went ahead and created a rectangle mat with a sentiment and rounded off the corners using the tools in the software.
Even though I am late announcing this months winner, I think you will all be excited to congratulate chefntot on her win. She did this wonderful cascade card. This months challenge has been one of my favorites to see all the creative projects. If you haven't taken the time to look yet, be sure and go to the July Challenge Folder and check them out. There are some fabulous projects and the creativity and fun is just out of this world Don’t forget, all challenge winners are chosen by random drawing and all you have to do is participate to have a chance at one of the fabulous prizes.
The first Pazzles University Virtual Retreat is now behind us. I think I am over the exhaustion phase and after reflecting on it, I know it was a success! It is always fun to see someone go from hesitant to gung-ho over the course of two days.
My daughter spends hours reading every day. A weekly trip to the public library is never enough for her. She burns through a stack of books in just a few days. I caught her laying on the couch with her books the other day and decided it was a perfect moment to document.
A gorgeously detailed, vintage Grandfather Clock that looks fancy but is so easy to make! The open panels of the clock are covered with clear transparency so this would make a gorgeous gift box filled with treats.
Pazzles very first Virtual University course for Beginners is tomorrow!! We are really looking forward to this event and have so many wonderful concepts and projects to share with you. Those who are registered should have received additional information by email. By now you all should have received the schedule, the supply list, the challenge file, and the final instructions will be coming soon.
