Doily Heart Card

Hello lovely Pazzlers! I hope you all had a wonderful holiday season and managed to immerse yourself in some craft amongst the madness! Today I’m sharing with you a project for the next holiday which is just around the corner – Valentine’s Day. That being said, this project can also be used for an anniversary, or any other occasion where you want to show how much you love someone. This project is a quick one to be able to pull together when you need something fast, but that looks very elegant. It also doesn’t require many supplies.

Gatefold Card Project Pattern

Shaped Gatefold Cards Project Pattern

I love to make cards where the shape fits the contours of the design. For this month's project pattern I decided to challenge myself and see if I could start with a Valentine's card and end up with 6 different themed cards. I have to admit it was a lot of fun and once I got started it was hard to stop! The gatefold card design enabled me to rotate the card in 3 different directions making it easy to come up with all kinds of ideas.

Do you have someone in your life who loves to read? Is that bookworm you? Bookmarks can be so much more than just a page marker. Here, I’ve created three different bookmarks that you can either make for yourself, as gifts, or use them as favours for parties or class gifts.

Folded Dimensional Paper Snowflake

Folded Dimensional Paper Snowflakes

My daughter came home from an activity a few weeks ago with a super cool folded dimensional snowflake. It was unlike anything I'd seen before. She created it by folding and cutting several pieces of paper and then gluing them together in cool patterns. I knew immediately these would be a hit with grownup kids too, so I created a few for you to cut out.

Personal planners are all the rage right now. Many scrapbook paper companies have come out with their own version of a planner and I suspect we'll see many more released next month at CHA (Craft & Hobby Show). Scrappers are using them not only to keep track of their schedule, but also to document bits and pieces of their lives. Have you jumped on the planner bandwagon yet?

Cut Away Christmas Cards Cutting ...

Making Christmas cards is one of my favorite parts of the season. I love to make layered cards with lots of sparkle, but cards like that are totally impractical for sending through the mail. The Cut Away Christmas Cards collection was designed with your far away friends in mind. All of these cards feature cool cuts that make these standout cards, but they are perfect for sticking in the mail because they are practically flat.

Thanksgiving/Fall Cutlery Pockets

One thing I love about this Design Team position with Pazzles is that I get to try new things. You see, we don't celebrate Thanksgiving here in Australia, so creating a project for that was great fun for me. As some of you will know, I love to host a dinner party or two and that is an excuse to make things for the table! This cutlery pocket was an excellent opportunity to try out something new for my dinner tables! Creating great table décor is at your fingertips with the amazing craft room files available.

‘Halloween Fun’ Glitter Globes and ...

I can't explain it, but ever since I was a little kid, I have always ADORED Halloween! To me, Halloween is a time to create incredible memories and celebrate the silliness and creativity of the world! That is why this year I chose to showcase some of my silliest Halloween memories with friends and family in a unique and clever way.

Pazzles Project Pattern: Letter Tiles

I am not sure whether it is nostalgia or something else that draws us to those little wooden letter tiles but it seems that we all love them. This month's Project Pattern includes the traditional letter tiles that we all recognize but it also includes ones for punctuation, numbers, and shapes. There are even some with fancy corners that have room for you to add your own font. Whether you make them big enough to hang as a banner, or small enough to add to a card these tiles will spark you creativity! Use them for wall decorations or on bulletin boards, make them in traditional colors or pink and blue for a baby. The options are endless.

What’s the time Mr. Wolf?

Back to school is such a frantic time of year for the children and for parents, but exciting too. Do you have young ones who are learning to tell the time? If so, this project is perfect for them, and for the older children who may need to practice their time telling skills. With a bit of out of the box thinking, this pretty ‘floral’ clock complete with leaves for the minute and hour hands will be a fun way to help your kids tell the time.
