I really love to vectorize my own designs, and I’ve gotten pretty good at it. But I’m really not an artist and it’s hard for me to make something up out of thin air so I usually start with a clip art file. My only problem is that I am cheap. I mean I am REALLY cheap, so I don’t want to have to buy clip art. One really amazing source for clip art that I have found is sites that offer public domain clip art.
These adorable little bags are called "Pocket Purses" and have the distinguishing feature of a band that covers the top of the bag. These purses would be a wonderful way to give out Easter candy!
Spring is finally here! At my house the daffodils are blooming and the grass is turning green. I am so ready for the warmer weather and the little indications that spring is truly here just cheer my heart. Of course you may have other indications of spring right now such as spring break! I know there is a lot of vacations and traveling going on right now so whether you are at home or on the road, I hope you are having a wonderful spring! In between all the business of the season I hope you have some time to see some of the wonderful things going on at the Pazzles Craft Room!
Here at the Craft Room we are always trying to find ways to make your Craft Room experience better. Be it adding new features, answering questions, or listening to your suggestions. We've been listening to Craft Room members about increasing our download limit in the Library.
Spring is upon us and with it come baby showers, birthdays, and engagements! That means you have a lot of gifts to get we are guessing! This project is a very practical, easy, but extremely fun to make gift card holder. If you need a gift "in a pinch" these holders are quick to make and really liven up the giving of a gift card.
March is here! Wait...March? Didn't we just celebrate New Year's? Is your year going as fast as mine is? I won't complain though because I am ready for spring! I hope you have a very wonderful weekend and that the weather is beautiful for you. No matter if you do get to go outside or you have to stay inside, I hope you have some time to enjoy some of the wonderful things going on at the craftroom!

Pop up cards have had a resurgence in popularity the past few months and it is not hard to see why. Nothing evokes quite the same reaction of both surprise and enjoyment like a pop up card does. Pop up cards can be relatively simply or extremely complicated, but even the simple ones can have really amazing results. For our project this month, we chose a simple pop up design that has hundreds of possibilities. This project was so fun and I think we each could easily have kept going with several more cards.
We have had a lot of fun sharing our thoughts and observations with all of you through our Monday morning breakfast topics. However in anticipation of new upcoming blogs, we are retiring the Breakfast Topic blog. Thank you to all of you who have read and shared with us these past few months! I have to say...I am officially addicted to fonts! There are just so many of them out there for absolutely free. I even found a site where they have turned hundreds of people's hand writing in to fonts. So fun! Even though I have hundreds of fonts on my computer (and growing!), I still find myself gravitating back to certain fonts.
Is the winter blues getting you down yet? I know that around this time of year I am always ready for winter to be over! All the fun winter holidays are over, and I am tired of not seeing green. I want something new! If the winter blues is getting you down too, you can always find something new here at the Craft Room! Sure it's not exactly spring, but there certainly are fresh and new things popping up everywhere!

Trying to figure out your blade length and pressure is almost an art. Getting it right takes practice and the more experience you have the easier it gets. I know when you are first starting out not being able to get your settings right can be really frustrating.
Christmas is behind us though we are sure you haven't quite recovered from it yet. In fact, if you are like many of us you probably don't WANT to recover! We hope your Christmas was filled with love and wonderful memories. New Year's is lurking right around the corner now, hard to believe it will be 2010!

Cards at the store are so expensive aren't they? Thankfully with a Pazzles Creative Cutter making your own home made cards of any shape, size, or look is easy. Provided by Chris's inspiration, we decided to make these trifold cards that have a little extra flap that you can weld any shape to such as a heart, star, or really anything! Take at look at these great designs that we made and you will see what I mean.
I love Christmas. I love the decorations, the smell, the food, the presents, and everything about Christmas. My favorite part about Christmas is giving gifts to my friends and family. My husband and I have always been on a fairly tight budget for Christmas. With so many presents to buy, we long ago decided to make our gifts each year and Pazzles Creative Cutter has been a huge help!
