Classic Cone Party Hat

Party Hat

I have been looking at all sorts of inspiration for DIY photo booths lately and I have come to one conclusion: people need hats and props! I mean, standing proper and smiling is nice and all but I feel like silly hats and props bring out your guest's real personality. So I set to making a collection of cute hats perfect for all kinds of parties whether you want to be princess and a pirate, a shark and mermaid, or just an adorably capped party-goer! I hope you enjoy this collection.

New Years Wreath Door Decoration

New Years Wreath Door Decoration

Need a great door decoration for your New Years party? You know Pazzles can help you with that. Here I cut out a wreath form out of cereal boxes with my trusty Inspiration Vue. I cut a circle inside of a circle to create a wreath form. I did cut out three of them and glued them on top of each other to give my wreath more stability. Then I started collecting stuff for my wreath. I found I had some gold tulle and some gold star trim as well as some clear acetate. I wrapped the form in the tulle twice again to make it look fuller and then with the star garland. I found some great files in the Pazzles Craft Room to decorate. I then wrote Happy New Year 2015 and gave it an outline in black. I used Core’dinations Gold Pearls Paper to cut out the lettering. The champagne bottles are from the Craft Room Library, New Years Bursting Bottle file and the glasses were from the 2011 file.

New Years Eve Crackers

I was not aware of “crackers” until I became an adult. They are just as fun for me as for kids! There are two cracker files in the Pazzles Craft Room that you can use for any special occasion, Cracker Box and Cracker Box 2 . Today I have dressed them up for New Years! These are very easy to assemble. I also added Print & Cut images from the Happy New Year Title as a bonus decoration.

Welcome 2014 Party Hat

Happy New Year to all my fellow Pazzler’s. It has been a challenging year for me, as I have been a Pazzles Design Team Member for the best part of the 2013. I have learnt so much about being part of a Design Team, but more importantly I have learnt so much more about my Pazzles Inspiration and capability of the software. It has been an enjoyable creative journey and I hope those of you that have received a new Pazzles Inspiration Creative Cutter from Santa, will share your creative journey with fellow Pazzler’s here in the Pazzles Craft Room.

New Year's Midnight Countdown Bags

New Years Party Collection

Tatum has designed yet another adorable collection and as soon as I saw it I knew just what I would make with it. The New Years Party Collection has everything you need to ring in the New Year and then record the memories. I have small children and this year my niece will be joining us for the night. I've created party bags for every hour, that the kids can open and then complete the activity. I used the images from the New Years Party Collection to decorate my bags and then added numbers to represent the time the bag should be opened. I think my kids will love this and as an added bonus, maybe the "How much longer?" questions will be fewer. You can fill your bags with whatever activities you'd like to suit the ages of children (or adults) you are entertaining.

Party Crackers

New year's eve comes so closely on the tails of Christmas that in the aftermath of Dec. 25th I have a hard time preparing anything much for it. This year however I (and now you too) am prepared! I know you are probably still doing last minute Christmas shopping, baking, wrapping, cleaning, traveling, planning.....So your mind is probably not looking towards 2012, but it is just around the corner! Don't fret though, this whole spread is amazingly simple to make and looks so cute! In fact I only used 4 sheets of black paper and 4 sheets of double sided patterned paper to do EVERYTHING!

Tea Light Candle Holders

Today’s ornament for Pazzles’ 12 Ornaments of Christmas was the inspiration for the beautiful candle holders in this Tricky Tuesday lesson. The candle holders can be made in any size just by changing the dimensions of the circles. Since glass votive and tea light holders don’t come in a standard size I have created a video tutorial to show you how to adjust the opening to fit any holder. I will also be featuring the measuring tool and some of the justification tools. Even if you are an experienced ‘Pazzle Person’ I’m betting that you will be surprised at my trick for making the holder opening the same depth when creating holders of successively smaller dimensions.
