5 Projects to Make with ...

School is winding down, or over for the summer here in the US and it won't be long until the famous summer boredom sets in. Coming up with activities to answer those complaints is a parent's summer homework. Luckily you have the world's best DIY machine, so you'll be able to ace that homework. Here are five craft projects you can make with your kids using your Inspiration. Next time you have a child five inches from your face complaining that there is nothing to do, you'll be prepared. 1. Paper Sailboats Cut these out of white paper and let the kids decorate them. After they're done designing, get them laminated so they'll last for a bit.

Cut and Paste Sketches: Chevron ...

It's time for another Cut and Paste Sketch idea. I love using these when I need a quick card, and I hope you find them really useful too. This card is the perfect opportunity to use up some scraps. The tags can be cut from little pieces of leftover papers and I think the more random they are, the better it will turn out. Share your creations with us on Facebook, in the Pazzles Albums, or on Instagram with #pazzlescutandpaste. We'll be on the lookout to see your creations!

Live In The Moment Layered ...

Hello crafty friends, Melinda with you today sharing a quick and easy card you can make in no time at all! For my card I used the Fancy Floral Frame cut file I found in the Craft Room. When I saw it, I thought...what a gorgeous file. I made my card base a 5" x 6.5" size. So I sized the frame a quarter inch smaller. I wondered how it would cut and was not disappointed. It cut beautifully. I then turned to my In The Moment stamp set. I stamped the flourished frame stamp with my Versamark Ink Pad and heat embossed it with some gold embossing powder. I then used my Cashmere Ink Pad to stamp the sentiment. I cut the sentiment out and then used some foam tape under it to give it a little lift. I then added a bow and a Prima flower from my stash. The green mat and the colored mat under the frame are patterned papers from the DCWV Dear Jane Stack. The base was Colonial White Cardstock. I finished it off by putting some pearl accents around the stamping. The card doesn't have too much on it as I really wanted the frame to be the focal point of the card, as it is such a beautiful file. This card came together fast and beautifully!

mini house cupcake carrier

Mini House Cupcake Carrier

If you have a friend in need of a little cheering up, you can take the cupcake shop right to them with this cupcake carrier. Take a peek inside this little cupcake shop and you'll find a rather sweet guest. I know he's sweet, because immediately after taking the photos, I ate him. One of the best things about being a paper crafter is that we are able to create so much joy with our projects. It makes us happy to make them and give them away, and it makes others so delighted to receive such special gifts.

File folder labels

Creating a Home Paperwork Station

Today I’m sharing a super quick and easy project to help get you organized. Our family command centre is coming together and my magazine rack from IKEA has just been mounted to the wall for all our documents that used to get dumped on the kitchen bench. The 4 x 6 Thursday to Sunday frames file is so quick to cut out and using a patterned paper for the centre piece as well as adding some paper flowers give them a lift. I printed straight onto the card stock for each ‘label’ instead of cutting the text out, and inked all edges of my cardstock with Copic markers.

Donut Cards Project Pattern

This is a cute project specifically created for dieting bakers. If that's you, you're welcome! Now you can "bake up a storm" and still stay on your diet. Make as many donut cards as you'd like and you won't gain a pound. After you've made a dozen different donuts, then tuck them into the donut box for safe keeping. As always, our Project Patterns make it easy to create projects in multiples with just a few clicks when opened in the InVue software. If you need a refresher on how to use these Project Patterns you can find more information here.

Antique Lock Mini Album Cutting Files

Treasured Memories Antique Lock Mini ...

We've spent the week talking about favorite things. Now it's your turn to make something pretty centered around your favorite things. This antique lock mini album can hold all of your favorite memories and will be a treasured keepsake. I love all things vintage and I tried to incorporate that look into this project. I used several layers of ink on my album cover to make the paper look antiqued. The Pazzles Pen Tool and the metallic papers I used also added a few extra details that make this album one of a kind. I'd love to fill this album with happy childhood memories and give it to my mom for her birthday. I can cut as many additional pages as I need if I'm feeling inspired to keep going.

Sisters Forever Layout

Design Team Favorites: Sisters Scrapbook ...

Join the Pazzles Design Team this week as we share a few of our favorite things with you. Hello crafty friends, Melinda here with you today. Our theme this week is Favorite Things. We were to use and or incorporate some of our favorite things in our projects. So here is what I came up with. My favorite thing hands down is my Pazzles Inspiration Vue. This machine literally changed my crafting. I went from hand drawing and hand cutting my paper piecings to being able to create and cut some of the most intricate designs. Aside from the machine my second favorite thing is the software. The software allows you to design your layouts before you cut a thing. I love that it works so much like many of our other programs. I can even insert the pictures I am going to use in my layout.

A Garden Makeover

For many years I have been saying I wanted to create a nice backyard garden area that was fun and functional. As I have looked at magazines, online and just chatted with people, I realized I had the ability to not only have a nice garden, but with my Pazzles, some garage sale finds, spray paint and some vinyl, I was able to get a good start on my creation.
