Holiday Traditions Scrapbook Layout

Holiday Traditions Scrapbook Layout

Tis the Season of traditions. This is the time of year that there seems to be so many traditions that continue and start. Some traditions only last a few years, because of the age of children, but other traditions continue for generations. What traditions do you have? Did you start a new one this season? This cutting file contains many different options for titles. You can stay with just the word Traditions or overlay it with one of those many options. You can use your pen tool in the journaling box below the photos.

Christmas Memories Project Pattern

Christmas is a time when precious memories are made. Most of us snap photos as a way to preserve the feeling of that special time. If you are like me you take hundreds of digital photos! But, do you ever get them off of the memory disk, print them and put them on a scrapbook page? I have to admit that it seems like I rarely get around to making the pages that I envision when I pose my family for a photo. This year, I plan to break that pattern of procrastination and get those photos printed and down on a page. In anticipation of that resolution, I have designed four different scrapbook pages for this month's Project pattern

Baby’s First Christmas Layout

Hello crafty friends, Melinda here with you today. It is my turn to share here in the Craft Room and well, as I thought about what I wanted to make....I just couldn't let the holiday season go by without making a scrapbook layout! Yep, the whole reason I got into paper crafting, was to scrapbook. A friend asked me to make a layout for a baby book she is working on and I thought this would be the perfect layout to capture the little baby boy's first Christmas.

Go Team Swimming Layout

Hello crafty friends, Today is my turn to share with you. I decided to create this fun layout for my super swimmer niece. She is a Junior in high school and a fantastic swimmer.

Cut and Paste Sketches: Three ...

I have really fallen in love with sketches and I am excited to share this one with you. Add whatever title fits your theme.  You can use a chunky title or if you prefer add a script one, either will fit great on this page. The flowers are a great embellishment, but those boxes can easily be used for extra photos, a different embellishment or even some journaling. You could even add some words to the strips using your pen tool if you wanted. I hope you enjoy this one, Klo

Homecoming Layout

Hello Beautiful People! So, this is a special post for me as this is the first true project I have done for Pazzles! Now, I thought long and hard about what my first project would be and then it hit me!

Blowing Bubbles Layout

Pure delight!  That is what I see when I look at these photos. Do you have children, nieces, nephews, grandchildren or even adults that love to blow bubbles?   Well, this layout is the perfect way to show case some photos for this wonderful activity.

Family Layout

This summer we were able to get all of my children together at one time in one place for the first time in thirteen years. So of course, I had to make sure that I got a photographer out to take photos of all of use together. I could hardly wait to get them on pages and into my scrapbook and on to my walls.

Gingerbread Christmas Mini Album

Gingerbread House Mini Album

It feels so strange to be adding frosting/snow capped roofs to projects in the July heat, but I have to admit it has been fun. It's got me dreaming of sweater weather and snow days while the sun beats down outside. This gingerbread mini album can become a yearly tradition for your family or the start of a new tradition for whoever you gift it to. Pick one holiday memory and document it year after year in this album. Maybe it's your annual gingerbread baking, or the neighborhood cookie swap. It would be so cute to include a picture of the kids with Santa every year so you can see how much they have changed. Whatever you decide to document, this album can be pulled out and enjoyed year after year.

Mini Album Calendar

Calendar Mini Album

Hello crafty friends, Melin here with you today to share my mini album. I was so thrilled to have a chance to create a mini album for this week's Christmas in July projects. I chose to go with a Calendar theme. This makes the perfect gift for special friends and or family. I started with the Scalloped Shaped Frame. I sized it to approximately 8.25 x 8.25. I cut the scallop in white. I cut out seven of them. I then cut the larger mat out in kraft cardstock. I cut out 14 of them and adhered them to both sides of the white scallop mats. I then chose several patterned papers from the DCWV Linen Closet. I love the beautiful soft teals, blues and greens. I created the little mini calendars and the labels for the months. I've included them below for you to download along with a notes journaling card. I printed them out and cut them with my Inspiration Vue.

Holiday Family Recipe Album

When the holidays roll around I start dreaming of all the good food coming my way. The women in my family all have their special recipes that they make holiday after holiday. I look forward to each and every one and I thought it would be a great gift to gather all of those recipes and make an album. I'll make one for every family in our extended family and my hope is they'll be passed on to the next generation. That way my grandkids won't miss out on my sister-in-laws pumpkin bread or my aunt's butter rolls.

Friends Word Book Album

I have always liked the look of Word Book albums, but I wanted to do one with a twist. So instead of just the letter all alone at the end, I put each letter in its own scalloped square to add a bit of fun. This can be a great gift for a special friend. Add photos and thoughts of your friendship together. I have included some different scalloped shapes for using with your Pen Tool to add quotes to. I have also included a few quotes that are fairly generic, but I encourage you to use quotes or journal to personalize it for you and your friends.

Patriotic 4th of July Bear Layout

4th of July Patriotic Bear ...

Hello crafty friends, Melin back in the Craft Room with you today. I was tasked this time with creating a project with a patriotic theme, so this is what I came up with. I created this layout using a few of the fun Craft Room files. I selected the MK July 4th Title, the MK Independence Borders. I also used the Sparkler, the Independence Hat, the Panda Bear and the Panda Sitting files.

Cut and Paste Cuttable Sketch

Cut and Paste Sketches: Good ...

I've got another Cut and Paste Sketch idea for you today. This lovely layout is perfect for documenting a day at the beach or summer BBQ. The layout holds five 3x3 pictures, so you can crop down larger pictures or have your pictures printed square. Remember, just because the layout looks pastel and girly, you can cut it out of darker papers and use it for a masculine occasion as well.

10 Things I Love About You Mini Album

10 Things I Love About ...

A simple, creative album that is not overly girly. The perfect way to share photos and the 10 reasons you love someone.

Antique Lock Mini Album Cutting Files

Treasured Memories Antique Lock Mini ...

We've spent the week talking about favorite things. Now it's your turn to make something pretty centered around your favorite things. This antique lock mini album can hold all of your favorite memories and will be a treasured keepsake. I love all things vintage and I tried to incorporate that look into this project. I used several layers of ink on my album cover to make the paper look antiqued. The Pazzles Pen Tool and the metallic papers I used also added a few extra details that make this album one of a kind. I'd love to fill this album with happy childhood memories and give it to my mom for her birthday. I can cut as many additional pages as I need if I'm feeling inspired to keep going.

Sisters Forever Layout

Design Team Favorites: Sisters Scrapbook ...

Join the Pazzles Design Team this week as we share a few of our favorite things with you. Hello crafty friends, Melinda here with you today. Our theme this week is Favorite Things. We were to use and or incorporate some of our favorite things in our projects. So here is what I came up with. My favorite thing hands down is my Pazzles Inspiration Vue. This machine literally changed my crafting. I went from hand drawing and hand cutting my paper piecings to being able to create and cut some of the most intricate designs. Aside from the machine my second favorite thing is the software. The software allows you to design your layouts before you cut a thing. I love that it works so much like many of our other programs. I can even insert the pictures I am going to use in my layout.

The party continues! Here's another free scrapbook layout sketch. This layout is heavy on the journaling and light on the photos. (The font is too small for cutting.)
