Doodlebug Design Inc. Flower Box Giveaway

A Paper Crafted Spring Hanging ...

Around this time of year I always feel so tired of winter and so ready for spring. It is still cold here and there are no signs of spring yet. To combat the winter doldrums I decided to add a little spring inside my office with a colorful paper mobile.  The Flower Box Collection by Doodlebug Design Inc. features the prettiest bright hues and springy images and makes this project stand out. I'll hang the mobile from my office ceiling and celebrate spring inside until the weather cooperates and spring comes to Idaho.

Pocket Pages Made Your Way

One of the hot trends we noticed this year at the CHA trade show is the idea of scrapbooking with pocket pages. Many companies introduced divided page protectors and small journaling cards that fit into the pockets. The idea is that you slip your 3x5 photos into the page protector, add a journaling card and an embellished title card and you have quickly completed a page.

February Challenge 2013

One Little Word Challenge. Let me explain. At the beginning of each year many people make tons of resolutions, ie lose weight, get organized, get caught up on scrapbooking, be a better person, etc. Well you get the idea. They generally make so many, that they tend to do good for a few weeks, then things go back to the way it was before. The actual challenge this month is to pick One Little Word that can help you start working on your goals/resolutions and put it into a project, layout, word book or whatever you want. Make it something you can look at every day and remind you what it is you are doing.

Make a seasonal layout for each month and a matching calendar grid, and you will have an adorable calendar to give as a gift or hang in your own home. At the end of the year, disassemble the calendar, trim off the hole-punched bottoms and you will have twelve layouts for your album.
