There is still time, be sure and join us for this months challenge. The January Challenge is going to be so fun this month. We are going to be working along with the post that Michelle did earlier about this being Universal Letter Writing Week. The challenge is to make a card and actually send it to some one, but be sure to take a photo first and post it in the January Challenge Folder. So use one of the ideas recommended in the Universal Letter Writing post or if you have wanted to do another card for a while, this is the perfect opportunity to do that. So if you know someone that is having a birthday, anniversary or just someone that needs a thinking of you card, now is the perfect time to do that.
Have you ever been cutting a project and noticed that one moment the cuts are fine and the next you’ll see light feathering around the edges? You can be cutting right along and everything can be great and then all of a sudden, the cuts aren't clean around the edges or the cuts aren't completely through the paper. Here are a few other tale-tale signs that your blade needs to be changed.
Winter is a great time to stay warm and snuggled up indoors, but there are a lot of exciting winter activities to take advantage of outdoors too. Maybe you like attending winter carnivals, going for long walks when the snow is falling, or maybe you’re like so many who enjoy hitting the slopes for a little skiing and snowboarding. In light of the winter season and for all the snow bunnies here in the Craft Room, I made this decorative 15 minute project snow bunny to hit the slopes with you!
Preparations for our first Pazzles Cruise are well under way and we are narrowing down our choices for the 2013 Pazzles Retreats. We have had a lot of questions concerning the difference between a cruise, a retreat, and a mini-retreat. We have been asked what we teach and what skill levels we address. I will be happy to explain what occurs at each type of event. These will adapt and change over time as we learn more, because you are our teachers as much as we are yours.
Nothing says I love you like chocolate, and the more chocolate, the better! With that in mind, I made a love pocket gift that holds an extra-large chocolate bar to really show my love for someone special.
We have chosen several regions for the retreats. What we need to know is if there is a strong preference for one city over another. If you would consider attending a retreat in a particular region, please choose which city you would prefer. If you don't live in that region, or wouldn't consider traveling to that region, please skip the question. TAKE RETREAT SURVEY

Today we are sharing this tag card that can be made simply or embellished into something amazing.
Michelle's post, Crazy About Cards, got me thinking: we sure are going to need a lot of envelopes for all these cards! And while we have a lot of envelopes in the Library, I know that one size does not fit all when it comes to cards and envelopes… especially when you're sending square cards and shaped cards!
Introducing our newest collection, Clam Dig Cutting Collection. This fun collection, designed by Klo, was inspired by requests from our Pacific Northwest customers. The collection includes 10 images including three titles, a razor clam, clam boots and headlamp, and several types of clam digging tools.

DON'T FORGET, this starts today. Looking forward to a fun learning and creating weekend. I know we are going to get doggone tired, but we are going to have a fabulous time learning, laughing and Pazzling. The Marathon of Classes will start on Friday, January 18, 2013 at 6pm (Central USA Time) and will continue through to Monday, January 21, 2013 with the final class being at the regular 1pm class (Central USA Time) If you are not sure what time that is in your location, go to the World Time Conversion site to see what time you will join us. To join, simply go to Klo’s Classroom, then Enter Classroom and sign in as a guest. For those of you that have never been to a marathon of classes, the way it works is, I will teach a class (generally lasts 30-60 minutes long), then we take a break (generally anywhere from 30 minutes to 3 hours, depending on the class just taught and time needed for next class preparation). We will do this around the clock, so you can join us whenever possible or if possible, for all the classes throughout the weekend. The classes will be recorded for future viewing as well. Below is a supply list, this may not be all inclusive, but for the most part, it should be complete. If for some reason, we don't get to a project that is using one of the items, due to time constraints, we will use those items in a weekly class asap. I am also including links for the items, so if you are unsure what it is, you can look and see if you have it or something like it.
There are many fantastic tools in the Inspiration Studio software that can make your image creation easier. Some I use once in a while and other ones I use on a daily basis. You may have already discovered that most designing will involve simple shapes such as circles, squares, rectangles, lines and triangles. Being able to make these basic shapes perfectly is very important to the design process. Fortunately there are a few quick tricks to making perfect basic shapes.
Last Friday we gave you a sneak peak of this gorgeous Glitter Snowflake Wreath when we debuted our newest Crafty Shopper Special, the PK Glitz Color Wheel and WonderFilm. We thought this beauty deserved it's own moment in the spotlight, so we are highlighting it today.

Do you find yourself wondering where to keep those Box Tops for Education, or other labels we pull of labels for? Well, whether you are a grandparent, teacher, parent or friend and you collect these for yourself or others, we are going to do a fun and creative project to help keep these until they need to be used or given to the appropriate person. No more clutter in on the counters or in the junk drawer. Don’t miss out on the fun starting Sunday at 7pm, Monday at 5am and 1pm (all times are USA Central, Chicago Time). If you are not sure what time that is in your location, go to the World Time Conversion site to see what time you will join us. To join, simply go to Klo’s Classroom, then Enter Classroom and sign in as a guest.
Michelle's beautiful Embossed Snowflake Tags have inspired a lot of our Pazzles peeps to try their own embossing projects. The Pazzles embossing tool was one of the first tools I invented for our electronic die cutters and it remains a favorite to this day. The embossing mat is the key to getting a beautiful impression. You can make it work better and last longer by spending time to prep it correctly.
It's been lightly snowing in Kuna, Idaho the past few days, but the best snowfall has been inside the Pazzles office. While my office floor is covered with paper scraps, the office snowfall I'm referring to is the beautiful layered snowflakes lighting up the office.
My apologies for the delay in announcing the big winner for the December Challenge. The big winner is Meader420. She will be choosing her prize from the challenge winner list. The other 11 winners of the Pazzles Image CD of their choice are:
