Visions of Sugarplums Christmas Baking ...

In a few short weeks Christmas baking will be in full swing. If you have the bug for holiday baking just a bit early, you can start by making paper cookies. These cookies don't need to be made from scratch, we've done all the work for you in our Visions of Sugarplums Collection. This collection is perfect for cards and tags for your holiday goodies and can be used after the holidays to scrapbook your Christmas memories.

‘Boo To You’ Halloween Treat ...

A mason jar full of chocolate eyeballs in a cute carrier. If you think your friends are in need of some chocolate eyeballs as well, then this project is for you.

Autumn Harvest Gifts

Fall is my favorite time of the year. My grandpa Clyde would take us grandkids for a Saturday drive through Yellowstone National park since it was only an hour away from where we lived to look at all the Quaking Aspen trees changing colors. I was always amazed how those beautiful green leaves could change to the most vibrant reds, oranges and yellows I have ever seen. I always loved the orange leaves best because they would be so bright they were almost neon!

Round Top Lunch Box

Round Top Lunch Box

Round top lunch boxes are one of those nostalgia items that never really goes out of style. Even if we never had a lunch box like it, we know someone who did. And the shape is perfect for so many different purposes! Treasure chests, steamer trunks, toy boxes and… of course, lunch boxes.

Hydrangea Hanging Ball

This Hydrangea hanging ball, or pomander, would make a beautiful wedding decoration. It can also be used as decoration in the home. I made this one to resemble a hydrangea but it could be a fall chrysanthemum by using golds and rusty reds. If you change the colors to red and green you can have a poinsettia ball. The Inspiration makes short work of cutting all of the flower pieces. (I cannot imagine punching each one out individually.) The project is perfect for working on while watching a movie or your favorite tv show. Older kids can help by poking the pins through the center of the florets. But be warned! They will likely want one for their room too.

Soap Gift Box

Soap Gift Box

Recently I asked my Facebook fans for ideas to do with my five grandchildren ages 2 to 9. I got a lot of wonderful ideas from them! (If you want to see more ideas 'Like' my Facebook page.) One of the projects was to make soap in the microwave. It was such a success that I couldn't wait to tell the Pazzles office staff about it. Eventually I concluded that a demo was in order so I packed up the supplies and brought it all to our Pazzles kitchen.

Curved Puzzle Box Project

Have you ever needed a last-minute box? This very simple box is fast and easy to make, but looks like it takes hours.

Stationery Box

I have a lot of friends saying, “I do” which got me thinking about gift ideas for special occasions such as this.

Watercolor Resist Wall Art

Inspiration! I love the look of watercolor paint resist, so I decided to make a 12 by 12 piece of wall art. I made this whole thing in less than an hour! I explain a few optional splatter and sponge techniques as well so you can have a really customized work of art. Enjoy!

Ukulele Box

Did you know that the Ukulele originated in Hawaii and is still a very popular instrument there? That makes this also a great gift for anyone who is visiting Hawaii or loves Hawaiian things. Wouldn't it be fun to put a lei and/or some Hawaiian-type treats - maybe something with macadamia nuts - inside?

Planner Calendar

Can you believe it is already July?! It seems just like yesterday I was planning all our summer events and BBQ’s in preparation for our busy summer. If you want to help keep life organized for you and your family, creating this project will be a must this summer. I found this frame on a discount table at Kmart about a year ago and never got around to printing a picture large enough to go on the inside. So, I thought using it for a white board or calendar is exactly what my teenage daughter and I needed.

Tie Tag

Father’s day is just right around the corner. Maybe you celebrate by enjoying a family BBQ or by hitting dad’s favorite burger joint. Whatever your plans are for the big day, mark dads favorite beverage with a tie tag and let him know how much he is loved and appreciated.

Teapot Box

I've made a lot of box patterns during my time at Pazzles, and I mean a LOT. I am, if I may so say without sounding too conceited, pretty good at it. Other people are gifted at making scrapbook pages, cards, altered arts etc. but as for me, boxes are where it is at. While I am proud of every box I make, some just have a little something extra that makes me ever so proud. This is one of those boxes. I love all the curves of this box and I love how well it emulates a real tea pot!

Eiffel Tower Box

An adorable Eiffel tower box that you can fill with Parisian treats (or Hershey's kisses).

Hair Pretties

A simple and adorable headband that you can add a center charm to for any occasion

Monthly Flip Calendar

January is the month of new beginnings and organization. That usually means you need a few new calendars around the house. This pretty flip calendar will add a designer flair to your office or craft room.

Cake Bon Bons in Fancy ...

I love making these sweet bon bon treats from cake. You may know them by another name: cake pops or cake truffles. They are absolutely divine tasting and can be made in so many different flavors. Use your Pazzles Pastry Tool to cut fun topper designs from fondant or sugar sheets. You can cut 2 or 3 dozen toppers at one time so you have spectacular results very quickly. I have made them so often that I have come up with a few tricks to make the job easier and faster.

Paper Bows

Wrapping a gift in beautiful paper and bows is half the fun of gift giving. Every year I pick just the right wrapping paper to fit my theme. Well, at least that is the theory. I like to have a different wrapping paper for each of the grandkids but now that there are 11 of them it is impossible. Now I have a different paper for each family, that way it is less confusing when it comes to passing the gifts out on Christmas Day.

Piece of Pie Box

I love baking goodies to give as gifts at the holidays. I usually make cookies, candies, jar mixes and jams as they are easy to wrap in fun little packages. Recently, my mom who is widowed, remarked that she loves homemade pie but cannot possibly eat an entire pie by herself. She was thrilled at our Thanksgiving dinner that she would be able to take a piece of pie home with her. I decided to make a box that could be used to gift a person with their own personal piece of pie. I also added a slide out tray lined with freezer paper.

Santa Bag Chapstick Holder

I was really excited to create this project for my daughter for Christmas. This is a wonderful way to have your kids create a simple project and give away as a very inexpensive gift to friends. Let’s face it, gift giving is expensive! I’m constantly looking for ways to cut corners on my spending for my holiday shopping and that made this little project was a sure bet!

Decorative Gift Basket

For several years we have celebrated the Christmas season with you by doing a series of 12 projects based on a theme. Two years ago we did the 12 Tags of Christmas and last year we did the 12 Ornaments of Christmas. Make sure to check out those projects because they are still just as awesome as the day they were posted! This year we really wanted to "wow" you with our 12 days of Christmas project series. After much debate we settled on doing the 12 BOXES of Christmas. We know how much you love dimensionals and we also know that they can be pretty intimidating to make. So let us help you out this season with 12 boxes that will leave your guests and recipients "ooing" and "awwing" all the way in to next year!

Pie Box

Are you going out of town for the holidays, maybe to the inlaws, and you want to bring a gift with you? Or maybe you are just going to be a dinner guest somewhere soon and really want to bring something special with you to thank them. Maybe you just really want to show someone how much you love them. What about combining your cooking and crafting skills to make a delicious pie all packaged up in a beautiful hand crafted box? I really have a hard time thinking of any gift I would rather receive!

School Supply Box

It seems that when I have thought of back-to-school projects I usually focus on the elementary years. For this project I was determined to make something that would appeal to a high schooler, college student or even a mom who needs to organize her office supplies. So often the pencil holders found in the office supply stores are too small for the collection of pencils, pens, scissors and rulers that I want to keep close at hand but this roomy box holds a lot .

Candy Cases

Up-cycle small empty plastic cases into sweet treats
