Guitar Box

I live in Music City, USA, better known to most as Nashville, TN. Not long ago, the new amphitheater opened and the city exploded with music! Music is a part of everyday life here and during the summer, you can find a concert almost every night! Some on the rooftops of restaurants, some on the river front, and others, of course, at the amphitheater. I love that you can walk in downtown any night of the week and see Elvis impersonators, street artists, and plenty of aspiring musicians playing their guitars and singing for offerings. I created this fun guitar box and card set with the city and all those aspiring musicians in mind.

Summer Flip Flop Box

A flip flop box you can fill with treats. Fun to give someone filled with a do-it-yourself pedicure kit, sunglasses, sunscreen, or any other goodies you can think of!

May Day Flower Basket

Each year for May Day (May 1), my kids and I make and leave baskets on neighbors and friend's doors. Our basket takes a different form every year. This year I have made a tussie mussie to stand in as a May Day Basket. A tussie mussie is traditionally a very small bouquet that is usually worn on the breast. Sometimes it is larger and held in the hands. Wikipedia says “The term tussie-mussie comes from the reign of Queen Victoria (1837–1901), when the small bouquets became a popular fashion accessory.” My tussie mussie is 12" inches tall. In the Pazzles Craft Room Library you will find many files to help you dress up your “basket.”

Desk Organizer Box

Desktop Organizer Box

This fun organizer box is great to sit on your desk for those things that you always need to have handy, but don't want to look cluttered. It would also be great for make up or your finger nail supplies. Use your imagination and use it where it is the most convenient for you. The dividers inside can be where you choose to put them or if you prefer, don't put in any dividers.

Spring Hat and Cake Mini ...

I am anxious for spring. I need to see the fresh colors and blooming flowers. Maybe a beautiful 3D hat and cake will encourage an earlier arrival. This can be given for many occasions: May Day, Mother’s Day, Graduation, Birthday, Just Because. This is an idea that will take you just minutes to complete.

Spring is in the Air ...

A daffodil planter to brighten your home and mark the beginning of spring! All files for this project came from the Craft Room library!

Paper Spring Fairy Shoes

Spring Fairy Paper Shoes

"Give a girl the right shoes and she can conquer the world." -Marilyn Monroe A new pair of fancy shoes can indeed change your outlook on the day. While I can't slip these on my feet, they do make me happy. I created these spring fairy slippers to serve as both gift packaging and a pretty display item after the fact.

Deer Tea Light Holders

Brrrr! Its cold outside and winter is in full swing. Soon all the holidays will be over, the Christmas décor will come down and we will be writing 2015 on our checks before we know it! I like to keep my house festive and fun during the winter months as they are usually the months we spend the most time inside. I created these little deer tea lights to add a little sparkle to my kitchen table winter scene. They are very simple to assemble and are a fun addition to my table.

DIY Christmas Ornaments: Victorian Baubles

Hello crafty friends, Melinda here today sharing my ornament project with you. These ornaments were super easy to make and very pretty. To start with I chose the Filigree Ornament file from the Craft Room. I proceeded to cut out 8 of these ornament files in white. I then created the solid "liner" piece by ungrouping the ornaments internal structure. I cut eight of these pieces out using some pretty paper from the Paper Studio Stack. Once I had all of my pieces cut out, I folded each piece in half. I did use my score board so that I could get a really good, clean score. You need to be careful with the filigree ornament when folding as there are a lot of little open pieces. Once all my pieces were folded, I glued one liner to one of the filigree pieces.

Your accommodations at the Toasty Toes Inn have already been arranged, so find your room and get comfy! We have a special surprise for you! Merry Christmas from Pazzles!

Gingerbread Village: Bridge and Pond

The milkshake pond is frozen this time of a year, and perfect for ice skating, but in a few short months when the weather thaws a bit (just a bit), you might be tempted to take a little dunk. Gingerbread people know what happens when their legs soak too long in the cold liquid, but still a few are tempted to see for themselves. It's a mistake that might cost a leg or two, so just obey the rules and stay out of the pond!

Gingerbread Village: Townspeople

It's the day of the candy parade in our gingerbread village and all of the townspeople are lining the streets to wave hello to the gingerbread floats. You'll see a few ice skaters, a snowman, Mr. and Mrs. Claus and all the other characters that make up this sweet village.

Gingerbread Village: Kids

It's always winter in our gingerbread village and that means the children spend many hours out in the snow. Nutmeg is the town's most fearless sledding champion. When the snow piles up against the eves of the house she starts on the roofs and uses the eves as snow jumps. She sometimes lands so hard she gets buried in the frosting snow and has to eat her way out.

Gingerbread Village: Man and Woman

When the sugar snow starts falling and the frosting hills start shifting and drifting, the gingerbread families hunker down in their houses. But when the sun is shining, the entire town is out and about shopping and visiting.

Gingerbread Village: Hot Chocolate Van

When you hear the sound of "Let It Snow" floating over the gingerbread trees and frosting hills, you better come running. Marvin's Hot Chocolate Van is making its rounds and the melted marshmallows will go fast.

Gingerbread Village: Bakery

Graham's Bakery has been around since the beginning of the village and is known for its gingerbread toast and cinnamon sugar rolls. You can stop in for lunch or order a custom part for your house renovation. When they turn on their giant ovens at 3 am every morning, the best smells float through town.

Gingerbread Village: Trees

Living in a completely edible town has it's advantages! On Christmas Eve the peppermint candies are harvested from all of the trees to fill every good gingerbread boy and gingerbread girl's stocking to the brim! The licorice ladders help the workers get the biggest and best candies, which are always at the top of the tree.

Gingerbread Village: Sled

On cold, frosty days the gingerbread children gather on the biggest hill for some sledding fun! Their cries of excitement can be heard all over the village. When the day warms up and the sled runners start to get sticky, they lick the marshmallow frosting off their mittens and head home.

Gingerbread Village Paper House

Gingerbread Village: Main Street House

Just down Main Street is the cutest little house with every Necco wafer perfectly positioned on the pitched roof. The village kids like to sneak up and take a lick of the giant suckers stationed at the doorway, but do it quickly, because it's likely Mrs. Ginger is watching from the window. She'll write down your name and report you to Santa.

Gingerbread Village: Church

In the center of town just down from the pond is the Gingerbread Village church. After Sunday services the congregation gathers for hot cocoa and gingerbread cookies from Graham's Bakery. The stained glass windows were a gift from Santa Claus himself after a huge frosting storm in 1989 knocked out the old windows.

Gingerbread Village: Country Cottage House

Welcome to our annual 12 days of Christmas event! We have been busy creating so we can share with you. Come on in to our first Gingerbread Village piece, the Country Cottage house, and make yourself at home. This tiny house holds all kinds of sweet treats and you are welcome to stay as long as you'd like. If you get hungry just break a piece off the door and have a snack.

Sunflower Bouquet in a French ...

Fall brings us beautiful colors, pumpkins, hay rides and flowers! I love the fall weather, just cool enough to wear a sweater and nice enough to sit on the front porch swing. Every time we go to the pumpkin patch they have cut sunflowers for sale in large French tin vases. I just love the way they look and smell! It’s one of my favorite spots to sneak off to while the kids are playing nearby with their dad. I just drink in the scent and beautiful blooms! I can’t resist touching the petals and I always bring a bunch home! Since pumpkin patch time has arrived, I got to thinking about all the fun and many memories we shared in the prior years of going. One of my fondest memories is of the sunflower bouquets in those tall silver flower pots lined up on hay bales just waiting to be scooped up! While thinking about these memories I decided I would fire up the Pazzles Vue and recreate those memories in a more permanent way. One of my favorite things about the Pazzles Inspiration Vue is that, if you can think it up you can create it! The projects I’ve made with my Pazzles have brought our family much joy, giggles, fun and lots of new traditions. This project will only add to those traditions and memories.

Banana Split Sundae

Even though summer is winding down and I can feel the weather getting a little cooler, nothing stops my sweet tooth when it comes to ice cream. I created this project for a birthday bash, or just to let someone special know that they’re the sprinkles on your sundae. This project would also make a great cake topper or invitation to your last summer ice cream social. So before summer melts away, get in on the scoop here in the Craft Room and satisfy your craving for a sweet project!

“Straw” Berries Party Straws

I can't resist a fun straw in my drink. I remember when the plastic crazy straws came out when I was a kid. I hosted a get together a few summers ago and themed our adult beverages around these vintage straws. They were a hit! Create your own party in a glass. Mix up a pitcher of sweet tea, or your favorite berry delicious drink and create these "straw" berries to sip from. They’ll be a perfect “pick” for a summer shandy.
