Boxes & Bags

Shamrock Bag

If St. Patrick’s Day pinching really isn’t your thing perhaps making this little Shamrock bag filled with chocolate gold coins will leave a bit O’ luck for coworkers and friends.

Valentines Party Set with Subtract Weld

Valentine with Subtract Weld

Wow! The actual DAY, Valentine's Day, really snuck up on me! I have been making valentine themed projects for Pazzles for a month now but totally missed the fact that I needed to get things done for my Grandkids for today. As I was working on redoing the video tutorial for Subtract Weld, it occurred to me that it was the perfect technique to use to create a quick and easy table setting for Valentine's day.

Making Shaped Bags

Making dimensionals can be very intimidating but add the complexity of SHAPED dimensionals and FORGET IT! Well, at least that may be how you feel, but the truth is that you can make some stunning shaped dimensionals, like this acorn bag, without being a grand master in the Inspiration Studio software.

I’m Lovin’ You Fry Box

Mini fry box with yellow twizzler "fries" inside. This is a fun treat that any kid, big or small, will enjoy receiving!

Heart Top Box

This super easy treat box has a heart shaped window and top. A great last minute box to make.

Cake Bon Bons in Fancy ...

I love making these sweet bon bon treats from cake. You may know them by another name: cake pops or cake truffles. They are absolutely divine tasting and can be made in so many different flavors. Use your Pazzles Pastry Tool to cut fun topper designs from fondant or sugar sheets. You can cut 2 or 3 dozen toppers at one time so you have spectacular results very quickly. I have made them so often that I have come up with a few tricks to make the job easier and faster.

Party Crackers

New year's eve comes so closely on the tails of Christmas that in the aftermath of Dec. 25th I have a hard time preparing anything much for it. This year however I (and now you too) am prepared! I know you are probably still doing last minute Christmas shopping, baking, wrapping, cleaning, traveling, planning.....So your mind is probably not looking towards 2012, but it is just around the corner! Don't fret though, this whole spread is amazingly simple to make and looks so cute! In fact I only used 4 sheets of black paper and 4 sheets of double sided patterned paper to do EVERYTHING!

Piece of Pie Box

I love baking goodies to give as gifts at the holidays. I usually make cookies, candies, jar mixes and jams as they are easy to wrap in fun little packages. Recently, my mom who is widowed, remarked that she loves homemade pie but cannot possibly eat an entire pie by herself. She was thrilled at our Thanksgiving dinner that she would be able to take a piece of pie home with her. I decided to make a box that could be used to gift a person with their own personal piece of pie. I also added a slide out tray lined with freezer paper.

Stacked Christmas Tree Box

This Christmas Tree Box is double the fun because it not only holds a special gift or treat but is an adorable decoration too! Imagine several of these trees in varying sizes tucked in among the greenery. The stacked layers form a sturdy box that can hold a gift or candy treat.

Drawer Box

I thought it would be fun to make a box that actually worked like a dresser drawer. These not only would make a great gift but are great for decorations or even organizing your odds and ends. I thought this box would be really cute to make several of and then stack them together too!

Pyramid Box

A simple and elegant box that is exceptionally easy to make and large enough to hold mini candies. Great for favors at a wedding, shower, or party!

Elegant Curved Box

I love boxes with unusual shapes. I also love to use sparkle and shine in my projects at Christmas time. This elegant curved box is the perfect combination of both. I cut it in a glitter embossed cardstock and added silver shimmer accents. The box also has a velcro closure under the snowflake medallion. There will be no doubt that this box holds a very special gift inside.

Scallop Christmas Tree

I am not a baker, but when we decided to make gift bags and boxes this year for the holidays I quickly went home to retrieve some cookbooks from my shelf. I was inspired to create some scrumptious cookies and give away to my friendly neighbors as gifts this Christmas. I thought this box would be a fun way to distribute my holiday baked goods. I chose a fun paper that was nontraditional for Christmas, pink!

Fold Over Box

Here we are already on day 4 of the 12 boxes of Christmas! If you haven't already make sure to check out days 1-3 of our boxes; you really don't want to miss them! December seems to go by so quickly and no matter how much planning and preparing we do, there always seems to be a gift or two that you really need in a hurry! That's why this box is so perfect, it is a very simple box and so fast! It literally takes one sheet of paper and some ribbon. It would be great to hold a pair of socks, a handkerchief, gloves or anything that just needs a quick wrap.

Hexagon Box

I think there is something about a uniquely shaped box that just gives it that little extra something. I mean honestly, would this box be nearly as pretty if it was a square shape? I just don't think so! I think this pretty little box would be a wonderful way to package up a piece of jewelry or a pretty hair clip. Also it is about the perfect size for a truffle...just sayin'!

Santa Bag Chapstick Holder

I was really excited to create this project for my daughter for Christmas. This is a wonderful way to have your kids create a simple project and give away as a very inexpensive gift to friends. Let’s face it, gift giving is expensive! I’m constantly looking for ways to cut corners on my spending for my holiday shopping and that made this little project was a sure bet!

Decorative Gift Basket

For several years we have celebrated the Christmas season with you by doing a series of 12 projects based on a theme. Two years ago we did the 12 Tags of Christmas and last year we did the 12 Ornaments of Christmas. Make sure to check out those projects because they are still just as awesome as the day they were posted! This year we really wanted to "wow" you with our 12 days of Christmas project series. After much debate we settled on doing the 12 BOXES of Christmas. We know how much you love dimensionals and we also know that they can be pretty intimidating to make. So let us help you out this season with 12 boxes that will leave your guests and recipients "ooing" and "awwing" all the way in to next year!

Pie Box

Are you going out of town for the holidays, maybe to the inlaws, and you want to bring a gift with you? Or maybe you are just going to be a dinner guest somewhere soon and really want to bring something special with you to thank them. Maybe you just really want to show someone how much you love them. What about combining your cooking and crafting skills to make a delicious pie all packaged up in a beautiful hand crafted box? I really have a hard time thinking of any gift I would rather receive!

Paper Halloween Treat Containers

The weather has taken a sharp turn towards winter this week here at Pazzles and it is impossible to deny any longer that summer is over and fall (winter?) is here. Though I have always been a warm weather person, I can't help but feel a child-like excitement start to bubble up in me when I realize that the holiday season is upon us. I love the memories, activities, and traditions that surround every holiday and some of the "heavy hitters" are just around the calendar corner!

Sunflower Gift Box

Sunflowers are some of the happiest flowers I can think of. They always make me smile, no matter what size or shade of yellow they are. For some reason they always seem to say "you are special to me". In late summer the roadsides and fields near my home have a multitude of wild sunflowers. A little bit of cheer that pops up in the most unexpected places. Naturally, I thought of adding a sunflower to a gift box as a way of telling someone how much they are appreciated.

Cupcake Boxes

I hate to admit it, but I’m sucker for fun packaging. When something is displayed perfectly it adds a nice touch for the product inside. Well this cupcake box is no exception! It’s a great way to showcase your pastry specialties, and impress your friends with not only your baking abilities, but your paper crafting abilities too. Soon with the Pazzles Pastry Tools you'll be able to decorate your cupcake to match the box it’s displayed in and tie it together perfectly with a bow---literally! If you find you’re in a pinch for time or money (aren’t we all these days) and need to put together a little something for a loved one or a friend this gift is perfect.

School Supply Box

It seems that when I have thought of back-to-school projects I usually focus on the elementary years. For this project I was determined to make something that would appeal to a high schooler, college student or even a mom who needs to organize her office supplies. So often the pencil holders found in the office supply stores are too small for the collection of pencils, pens, scissors and rulers that I want to keep close at hand but this roomy box holds a lot .
