I have been looking at all sorts of inspiration for DIY photo booths lately and I have come to one conclusion: people need hats and props! I mean, standing proper and smiling is nice and all but I feel like silly hats and props bring out your guest's real personality. Last year I looked through all of my massive cutting file collection trying to find a 3D Nativity project. I couldn’t find any suitable ones, so I purchased a few, but I wasn’t happy with the way they turned out. So this year I decided to create my own 3D file using a nice layered Nativity Scene that I found in the Pazzles Craft Room.
This project was inspired by a light box board that I saw at local store. I thought I could make something similar to put Christmas sayings and images on using vinyl. It can be also used to count the days until Christmas with acrylic pieces, that would be more durable, for the count down numbers.

I tried to capture that feeling of fresh fallen snow at sunrise. I chose the colors that I associated with that feeling and pulled out the rhinestones to add the bling that gave it the sparkle and glimmer.
