Piece of Pie Box

I love baking goodies to give as gifts at the holidays. I usually make cookies, candies, jar mixes and jams as they are easy to wrap in fun little packages. Recently, my mom who is widowed, remarked that she loves homemade pie but cannot possibly eat an entire pie by herself. She was thrilled at our Thanksgiving dinner that she would be able to take a piece of pie home with her. I decided to make a box that could be used to gift a person with their own personal piece of pie. I also added a slide out tray lined with freezer paper.

Stacked Christmas Tree Box

This Christmas Tree Box is double the fun because it not only holds a special gift or treat but is an adorable decoration too! Imagine several of these trees in varying sizes tucked in among the greenery. The stacked layers form a sturdy box that can hold a gift or candy treat.

Pyramid Box

A simple and elegant box that is exceptionally easy to make and large enough to hold mini candies. Great for favors at a wedding, shower, or party!

Hexagon Box

I think there is something about a uniquely shaped box that just gives it that little extra something. I mean honestly, would this box be nearly as pretty if it was a square shape? I just don't think so! I think this pretty little box would be a wonderful way to package up a piece of jewelry or a pretty hair clip. Also it is about the perfect size for a truffle...just sayin'!

Pie Box

Are you going out of town for the holidays, maybe to the inlaws, and you want to bring a gift with you? Or maybe you are just going to be a dinner guest somewhere soon and really want to bring something special with you to thank them. Maybe you just really want to show someone how much you love them. What about combining your cooking and crafting skills to make a delicious pie all packaged up in a beautiful hand crafted box? I really have a hard time thinking of any gift I would rather receive!

Witch’s Brew

Halloween has become less about the candy over the years and more about the food, and good friends at our parties. I always like to bring the hostess of the event a little surprise and I thought this would be a perfect gift for our Halloween get together this year. What a great way to dress up a bottle of sparkling apple cider or your favorite bottle of wine to go along with all the goulish snacks and dips. I even included some wine tags with some cute sayings on them so that you don’t lose your glass at the party. Pastry Tools Teaser

I'm working late tonight trying to get everything ready for the Pastry Tools! We are so close to being ready I can almost taste it (haha get it? TASTE!). While I am waiting for some videos to render I thought I might give you a little teaser. So, here is another one of our cakes we made for the video tutorials that are included in the Pastry Starter Kit. There is SO MUCH information in these tutorials. I wish someone could have handed me these videos when I was first learning!

Drink Collar

August is here and for many of you that means the heat is really settling in. So this project is just a little reminder to HYDRATE yourself! Drink that water people! This cute and simple project is great for mass producing water bottles for any outdoor event including sports games, practices, weddings, and pool parties. What will You do with ...

I absolutely love small town pride and all the hoopla that goes with it! Pazzles is located in a small town and this past weekend we celebrated our company and our home town. There was the BBQ and the farmers market, the craft booths and the barrel train ride, but best of all was the parade. It may be hokey and lack the glitz of the big city but small town parades are a lot of fun! Where else can a kid get a huge bag of candy in less than an hour? Where else can you get soaked by the little old ladies and their water hoses as you walk by? (Believe me, that is very welcome on a 90 degree day!)

Camping Tent

Paper crafting is not just a hobby, but an expression of what we are and the things we like to do. For those of you who like to hike, or just like going camping this is the perfect project, but it also makes a great gift for kids who get to enjoy camps over the summer too. This summer I was able to take a hiking trip with an amazing group of friends. Since this was my first time, I didn’t anticipate the almost five mile hike. I was pretty exhausted by the time we got to our destination and started prepping our camp to get all the tents set up. I have to say it was a pretty impressive sight to look around our camp and realize we packed everything in with fifty pound packs. I made this tent to preserve the memories of that trip.

We get together with good friends often, and most of the time it is at my house. That means I’m in charge of providing snacks and drinks. Nothing says summer like a glass of cold, fresh lemonade. Not only is it a great way to decorate for adults getting together, but it’s a great way to decorate the kid’s lemonade stand too. There’s nothing like a great project, but a project that’s easy to assemble and has a big impact—that’s even better! I loved these cute Easter egg flowers that Chris designed. What a fantastic way to dress up your eggs and display them. When she brought them in to the office I instantly started assembling the perfect flower. Then the next thing I knew I had created three, and if it wouldn’t have been in the middle of the work day well I probably would have hung out at her desk all day!

Easy Easter Egg Buddies

I think that we all know that creating fun projects like these still brings out the kid in all of us. So maybe we are just all kids stuck in grownups bodies! When I created these little ‘Easter Buddies’ I right away thought not only are they cute decorations, but they would make great place settings to write the names of friends and family members on them to reserve their special spot at the table for Easter brunch or dinner.

Round Boxes

I wish that ladies still wore hats more often. I love looking at vintage hats and all the many beautiful and unique styles that we have gone through over the decades. These little round boxes remind me so much of hat boxes and I love hat boxes as much as I love hats!
