Which Updates Should You Download??

Happy Accidents

Registering Your Inspiration Studio Pro ...
There are many of you who are excited about the new features that are included in the Inspiration Studio Pro software. I know that for me I was so excited to make last minute gifts using the rhinestone feature. There’s nothing like a customized gift especially using rhinestones!! For those of you who have installed the software and are up and running you’ll notice a multitude of benefits to the upgrade. However, for those who haven’t upgraded yet and are waiting; don’t fret because the Inspiration Studio software is wonderful in its own right, although it may be missing a few of the upgrades that the Inspiration Studio Pro software provides.

Hair “Pretties”
When my daughter was young, she had beautiful long blonde hair and she always wanted 'pretties' for her hair. We had different kinds, there were "circle pretties", "clippy pretties" and some basic "headband pretties" that I attempted to make, some were okay, but I didn't have the Pazzles in those days. Over the holiday, my son and his family came and visited. They have two girls and they also like "pretties" for their hair, so we made a WHOLE BUNCH of them.

Homemade Dust Cover
I know that this branches out a bit from our usual "paper based" fabulous finds but I really couldn't help myself when I saw this wonderful dust cover Miztaken created for her inspiration. Crop and Print
I hope you all had a wonderful Holiday Season! My house was filled with family including children and grandchildren. There were 22 of us all together! That gave me many opportunities to take pictures to remember the fun and the love we shared. I am sure many of you did the same. Now, I want to use some of my favorites to create scrapbook pages and gifts. Since I am not a professional photographer I will need to crop my photos to remove unwanted hands, heads etc. I especially love to crop into ovals and circles; it gives such an elegant feel to the photo. The trick is how to match my photo mat or frame to the cropped photo. I am sure you will not be surprised to find out that there is a great cropping tool in the Inspiration Studio Software.

Making Your Own Boxes
Only four days to go until Christmas! If you are like me than you probably trying to wrap up your Christmas shopping and get everything wrapped and under the tree. For me, that's about the time I realize that I need a lot of boxes in a lot of sizes that I don't have for gifts like necklaces, cookies, and ornaments. A pretty box can make all the difference when getting a gift.

Real gingerbread houses always seem to be one of those things that I want to do every Christmas and yet every Christmas I run out of time to do it. So when I saw Chris's awesome gingerbread house I just knew I had to make my own.
Straightening Out Curls In Your ...
Making sure that your mats are stored as flat as possible is very important. The quality of your cuts depends a great deal on the quality of your mats. The Inspiration was designed to load the mat with ease and lines up perfectly when it’s loaded into your Inspiration. This is one of my favorite features of the Inspiration!
Gingerbread Gift Box
Does your house have the smells of Christmas? Gingerbread, spice tea, rum balls and sugar cookies are some of my favorite holiday scents.This house shaped box is the perfect holder for some of those yummy Christmas goodies. When I see absolutely gorgeous creations like this box by craft room member, Pinkalicious, I'm in love instantly. This stunning treat or gift box would make any gift extra special. I love that Pinkalicious used a soft green and white. Perhaps not the first colors you would think of for Christmas but the results speak for themselves. Thank you Pinkalicious for sharing your "gift" with us and I hope that this project inspires the rest of you to make your own gifts!
When To Retire Your Mat
With Christmas right around the corner a lot of you are probably in a hurry to finish up Christmas cards and last minute gift ideas with your cutter. I know how easy it is to get busy with family, your house and work. With so much to do and so little time to spare, you probably want your Christmas cards and other Christmas projects on the Inspiration to go as quickly and smoothly as possible. It’s also easy with how busy you are to forget when the last time you changed out your blade and mat was.
