During the early summer mornings I am often woken up by the singing of the birds in our garden. Recently, my children have been filling up our wooden bird boxes in the garden with nuts, which reminded me of the House Box that I had seen in the Pazzles Craft Room.
We’ve received wonderful news! Two of my nieces are expecting, so I decided to get some cards ready. For this card I started out using a brown base card size of 4" by 7". I decided to go with a flower and button theme for this card.
Recently, during one of Klo's Classroom Tutorials, she showed us how to create cascade cards using Inspiration Studio software. The Cascade Card cutting file was added to the Pazzles Craft Room as well. I love the 3D card and was keen to have a go myself and create a card for my husband who used to have a moustache in the early days of our marriage. Cards for men are so difficult to make and I wanted this card to have a fun element to it.
Adhesive may not come in pretty colors or patterns, but it is an important part of every project. It is, after all, the glue that holds a project together! We are so impressed by the huge variety of adhesives available from Therm-O-Web. They have thought of everything. I had the opportunity to play with and cut a few of their specialty adhesives recently and was thrilled with the outcome.

I have always wanted to create a layout that used the Pen Tool as the background and journaling. With the new Pen Tool, I knew that now was the time to do that.
I'll admit it. I've been sucked into the chalkboard art craze and wanted to create my own little mini masterpieces for cards. Most of us want to make the cards we give to anyone in our family as special as we possibly can. I often am told that cards for Dad can be a challenge. Maybe it is because we are trying to say so much in one little card, or maybe we want the message to be unique and not silly or trivial. Whatever the reason, it seems that no card will ever say it all.
Thanks for creating along with us this week as we build our Father's Day Tool Belt. Today is the final set of tools: a hammer, screwdriver, level and two pencils. These images are simply cut out and pieced together, simple as that!

I will admit I'm a cat lover. So when it was time to attend a friend's baby shower, I couldn't resist making this fun little kitty cat bag to hold my goodies. I enjoy taking a simple file from the Craft Room library and turning it in to a project. You can create a box out of almost any cutting file.
The sun is beginning to shine here in the UK, and the summer holidays will soon be upon us. I came across this gorgeous Teardrop Trailer file in the Craft Room Library and thought it would be ideal to transform into a small gift for someone going on their holidays.

It's almost the end of the school year for a lot of kids and teachers and it is time to make all those teachers feel extra special. I wanted to make some very special teacher cards. Inspired by a quote that I found online, I created this card.
Have you discovered the many used of washi? Here in the Pazzles office we are wild for washi! It is such a fun addition to almost any project and comes in a variety of designs. My favorite part is the fact that you can tear it to different lengths and the messy edge is OK. (I like permission to be a bit messy- it validates my penchant for making clutter when I create.) It can also be layered and because most washi is transparent you get an hombre look by adding layers.
Sometimes, I get inspiration for a project by the simplest of the things. I found the Layered Yellow Flower cutting file from the Craft Room Library and wasn’t sure how I wanted to use it. I started by taking a look in the Craft Room Library and came across this cute Little Bee cutting file. Inspired by the little bee and colors, I decided to add the Plumeria Flower file from the Library.
