Wait. What is this? Another InVue update less than two weeks after 2.2 came out? Why yes it is! InVue 2.2.1 was released today. Here's a quick run down of the what's new with this update:

Today's InVue release is HUGE!!! It's so huge that InVue turned the big 2.0! With three major new features and a host of smaller improvements, this is by far the biggest update to the InVue software ever. Best of all the first InVue update of 2016 is free to all existing InVue owners! Read on to find out what has changed in the latest and greatest release of InVue, because there is sure to be a new feature you're going to love. Single Stroke Fonts One of the cool new features in this version of InVue is the added support for single stroke fonts. Single stroke fonts are fonts designed to be drawn, embossed, etc. instead of being designed for printing the way that traditional True Type Fonts are. With single stroke fonts you get a very unique look which often appears much more like natural hand writing (albeit substantially neater than I'm capable of). In addition, single stroke fonts are typically much faster for your machine to draw than traditional true type fonts.

The next time you open your InVue software while connected to the internet, the update will be automatically applied. As always thank you for continuing to offer feedback and suggestions. Your requests, suggestions, bug reports, and Pazzles Craft Room membership help us make InVue better. Here are some of the standout new features included in this release: InVue Project Patterns There have been a number of changes to make InVue projects better than ever! If you are a Pazzles Craft Room subscriber, have InVue, and haven't previously taken advantage of our monthly Pazzles Project Patterns now is the perfect time to take advantage of this awesome benefit. In order to take advantage of the changes made to InVue all of the Pazzles Project Patterns that have been released here on Pazzles Craft Room have been updated. You can view and download all of these projects by going to the InVue Project Patterns Page found here.

As always thank you for continuing to offer feedback and suggestions. Your requests, suggestions, bug reports, and Pazzles Craft Room membership help us make InVue a better product. Here are some of the standout new features included in this release: Grid Lines & Snapping InVue now supports custom grid lines with snapping capabilities. This often requested feature will enable you to use a huge assortment of grid sizes, set you grid color, and with snapping, align your shapes and designs simply and intuitively.
InVue Software has been updated to 1.5.3. The next time you open your InVue software the update will be automatically applied. Thank you for continuing to offer feedback and suggestions. While many of the changes in today's release are bug fixes and under the hood improvements, there are a some new features and changes worth highlighting: Click & Drag Locking Dragging images around the page is easy, but sometimes you only want to move it one direction. Enter the Shift key! By holding down the Shift key when using the selection tool you can now drag your shapes around the screen perfectly vertically, horizontally or at 45 degree angles. So, next time you need to move that image just a little to the left, hold down the shift key and drag with confidence!

Did you know the InVue Software is full of shortcut keys to make designing easier? Once you get familiar with these hot keys you can use them to easily move between functions and do frequently used actions. Attached below is a downloadable PDF that you can print out and keep near your keyboard until you become familiar with these hot keys. The download applies to both Windows and Mac. You'll notice the shortcuts look like this: ctrl/cmd + p. If you are a Windows user you will press the Control Key and p at the same time to enable the shortcut. Here are the new features! Improved Path and Fill Options for Embossing, Engraving, Piercing and Rhinestone Line Types You can now fill with Rhinestones! The Line Type options window has seen a substantial revamp, many improvements and bug fixes to the fill process for tools, and brand new options for rhinestone and pierce line types. There are too many changes here to cover individually so fire up InVue and check out all the new options for line types!
