Wow! The actual DAY, Valentine's Day, really snuck up on me! I have been making valentine themed projects for Pazzles for a month now but totally missed the fact that I needed to get things done for my Grandkids for today. As I was working on redoing the video tutorial for Subtract Weld, it occurred to me that it was the perfect technique to use to create a quick and easy table setting for Valentine's day.

I love ruffles and pleats. They can soften a project that is too stark and add class to something that is too simple. Usually, I use fabric ruffled ribbons to add to my projects. But pretty as the ruffled and pleated fabric trims are, they can be a costly addition to my design. Recently I decided to try my hand at making my own ruffled and pleated ribbon out of paper.

In today's Tricky Tuesday I am going to show you how a quilt project inspired me to find a way to use those strips of paper.
I love making these sweet bon bon treats from cake. You may know them by another name: cake pops or cake truffles. They are absolutely divine tasting and can be made in so many different flavors. Use your Pazzles Pastry Tool to cut fun topper designs from fondant or sugar sheets. You can cut 2 or 3 dozen toppers at one time so you have spectacular results very quickly. I have made them so often that I have come up with a few tricks to make the job easier and faster.

I know you are probably still doing last minute Christmas shopping, baking, wrapping, cleaning, traveling, planning.....So your mind is probably not looking towards 2012, but it is just around the corner! Don't fret though, this whole spread is amazingly simple to make and looks so cute! In fact I only used 4 sheets of black paper and 4 sheets of double sided patterned paper to do EVERYTHING!
