We are having class this week, we will be learning to create a fold out card with a fun center. I am looking so forward to seeing everyone and having classes. Don't worry! You don't have your days mixed up. We switched to a new version of our video editing software and we encountered some MAJOR changes that required writing new code on our website. Thanks to Dave and Cris, we our now up and running again! Please accept our apologies for the delay! You would think that text would not be so difficult to understand. After all we are living in a 'Techie' world and we use text everyday. In fact, I sometimes wonder if I still remember how to write in cursive! I love all of the interesting fonts that are available for my computer. I think I have collected more fonts than I will ever be able to use in my lifetime. Once you master the basics of the Inspiration software, you are ready to try some fun things with all those fabulous fonts you have collected. This is usually the first time you realize that text is its own creature.
We are very proud of the image library we have created here in our Craft Room. Since our images are produced and owned by Pazzles it is important that we protect our designs in the process of sharing them. However we also want to allow you the freedom to use the designs for many purposes - whether you are hosting a crop or a birthday party. That is why we have an Angel agreement policy that protects our designs while still giving you the freedom to create.
For June I challenged you to make a project using an image from the Craft Room Library that you had never used before. I think this was a really fun challenge and from the looks of it you guys had a lot of fun with it too! If you haven't seen all of the member made projects yet, make sure to check them out because they are incredible!
Once again we have exciting news to share with all of you. We have added another member to our family here at Pazzles, please meet David! David has joined me in the technical support dept, and is extending his knowledge and experience working in the software industry to help support all of you.
Have you ever had trouble finding the right size element for a project? You can find the perfect tag, sticker, title or die cut but it is the wrong size. It reminds me of the story of Goldilocks and the 3 Bears. Everything is Too Big or Too Small and hardly ever can I find one that is Just Right.
My dad has been and always will be a dairy farmer. Oh sure, we pulled him in to the scrapbooking business for quite a while but as the saying goes you can take the man out of the dairy, but you can't take the... Okay maybe that isn't quite the saying but you get what I mean! So when I needed a gift box for him I decided to turn a gable box in to a cow. The little cow turned out so adorable and was so easy I decided to make him a few little friends. Aren't they adorable? These are a very quick project and are so cute. I hope you enjoy them!

There's plenty for your spouse or non-crafting friends to do on the sea days.
Chantilly, Virgina September 7- 9, 2012 Chantilly is located in western Fairfax County in the Northern Virginia region of Virginia. During the Civil War, the Battle of Chantilly took place nearby. It is approximately 24 miles from Washington D.C. and is home to Dulles International Airport The hotel is located only six miles south of Dulles International Airport and offers easy access to the heart of Washington, DC. The hotel is centrally located to popular area attractions that include the National Air and Space Museum as well as many other Smithsonian Institution destinations in downtown Washington, DC.
Sadly, the Chicago retreat was our last retreat until this fall. Klo and I will miss meeting all of you! However, we have been busy planning our next 2 EVENTS! We will have another one in September AND something REALLY fun scheduled for February. Be sure to check back later today to find out more about both opportunities. :)
I couldn't come up with a clever title for this week's Tricky Tuesday tutorial. Yet, doing this one little process will make your life a lot easier AND...the little icons for your cutting files will be a lot prettier. If you ask me, that is VERY clever!

I am so excited to introduce you to the newest addition to our Pazzles family! Amanda H. just joined our team this week as our new Marketing Manager. Her exuberant spirit, passion for crafting, and extensive knowledge are a wonderful addition to our team. Plus, I have a new office roomie, yay! We thought it would be a great idea to give Amanda H. a moment to introduce herself to all of you and share her first official Pazzles file. I am sure you will see many new and exciting things coming soon from her!
I love my Inspiration and I know you all love yours too. When we say the possibilities are endless, we really mean it! I love knowing I can throw a custom themed party for friends and family creating everything I need with my Inspiration from the invitations, right down to the delicious cake and pastries I’ll serve. The hard part is deciding which idea I want to go with next. So my only real dilemma is finding more friends, or just throwing more parties!
While Moms may appreciate the extra effort that goes into a card with lots of layers and frills, Dads tend to like cards that are bold and simple. This easy cut away card lets Dad know he is the BEST of the best.
When you are a beginner with the Inspiration Studio Software it is hard to decide where you want to start. Do I make a title using my own font? Or do I try designing a scrapbook page using images from the image gallery? You have visions of beautiful projects like the ones you have seen in the Craft Room Image Library. And then..... you realize that you have to walk before you can run.
A mustache card! Honestly how were we going to get through this masculine card series without a mustache card? This card is very easy to make and though it is simple, I think it is also adorable! I have also included alternative text so the card can say "Thank You" or "Happy Birthday". With how in trend mustaches are right now I am sure you can find someone who will love this card!
Wow! We have had some tumultuous weather at Pazzles last night and today! A lot of our area has been suffering from power outages and knocked down lines, and unfortunately Pazzles headquarters is not immune! Our internet and phones have been up and down all morning. We are currently running on our backup internet however if you have tried to contact us either via chat or phone today and haven't gotten through we hope you will forgive us! We'll keep working on getting a more reliable connection but until then we're are just trying to not blow away on this blustery day!

I love this card for a couple reasons. First of all it is a wonderful way to use up small scraps you have laying around. Secondly, it can easily be adapted to any color theme which means it is easy to make this a girl card too! I also love that it is just classic and elegant.
