Have you ever needed a last-minute box? This very simple box is fast and easy to make, but looks like it takes hours.
There will be no class this week, but be sure to be ready next week as we continue learning to create and design more titles. If you haven't seen the last few classes, check out the Klo's Classroom Archives while we are away this week.
Recently my mother gave me Grandma's jewelry boxes filled with her costume jewelry. What a walk down memory lane! My mom thought the grandkids would like to play with them but I am not really ready to part with these treasures yet. The big question for me is: What do I hold on to and what do I let go? I know that I cannot keep every piece, but it is so hard to decide. Have any of you faced this dilemma? Any ideas on how to chronicle these treasures?
One of the stops on Pazzles Cruise & Crop, February 2013, is Falmouth, Jamaica! Royal Caribbean has completely rebuilt the port of Falmouth and totally revitalized the area in to a cruise-goers paradise.
Plastic spray stencils are everywhere. They come in basic shapes and trendy patterns, like chevrons and hexagons. And as cool and trendy as some of them are, I always put them back on the shelf, thinking, "why buy it, when I can cut it with my Pazzles Inspiration?" Time to put that idea to work!
Are your Craft Room cutting files neat and tidy? Do you have them arranged so that they are right at your fingertips? I love the concept of being organized but rarely do I actually accomplish it. I may start well but actually getting it done is not so easy. I have gotten a new computer and have determined that I will do a better job of organizing my Craft Room Image library files this time around.
I have a lot of friends saying, “I do” which got me thinking about gift ideas for special occasions such as this.

We are going to continue learning another great technique with creating titles this week. We will be mixing and matching fonts and styles. So be sure and join us as we continue this fun and exciting series of creating titles.
There is a fresh face in the front office here at Pazzles. Kendall has been with us about a month and is already proving herself to be invaluable. I have really enjoyed working with her; she is always ready to do what ever I need with efficiency and cheerfulness. If you are going to the Chantilly retreat, you may have already spoken to her on the phone. I think she is a perfect addition to the Pazzles family.
If you're looking for the perfect quote or sentiment for your project then you need to visit one of my favorite website. You're bound to find exactly what you're looking for.
Lock (verb) a: to fasten in or out or to make secure or inaccessible by or as if by means of a lock b: to fix in a particular position It is pretty obvious to all of us what the verb 'to lock' means. Many of us have locked up our bike so it cannot be moved or locked a gate so that it won't swing open. We all lock things up that we want to keep safe. There is a fabulous feature in the Inspiration Studio PRO Software that also can help you lock things so that they cannot be moved. Look at the bottom of the workspace and you will see two little padlock icons for the Lock/Unlock feature.
Inspiration! I love the look of watercolor paint resist, so I decided to make a 12 by 12 piece of wall art. I made this whole thing in less than an hour! I explain a few optional splatter and sponge techniques as well so you can have a really customized work of art. Enjoy!
Did you miss the classes this week? If so, here are the archives. Sunday Evening Session Monday Morning Session Monday Afternoon Session Titles are an important part of paper crafting. Whether you are doing layouts, cards, or making other items, you almost always need to design a word or a title. We are going to start at the very basics of creating words and work through welding, layering and then adding some extra fun to them, making them more advanced.
One of the stops on the Pazzles Cruise and Crop is Grand Cayman! If you ever wanted to swim with the Stingrays, this is the place to do it!!
Have you ever been working on a project and wished you had someone to guide you? Maybe you are struggling with color combinations or how to use a printed paper. You might be trying a new product or technique and can't seem to make it work. Recently, I was faced with that challenge when I decided to try digital scrapbooking.
The August Challenge is all about water. You can do a layout, card, project or anything you choose, as long as it associates with water in some way.
Have you been searching for some in your area who has an Inspiration and shares the same passion for paper crafting as you do? Then you’ll want to check out the “Neighbors Board” in the forums. This will connect you with other Pazzles peeps in your area that are looking for someone just like you. Take a peek and see who’s close to you!
I tend to wear my computer out more quickly than most people. I will admit that it has created a fair amount of teasing here at the office. I think it is because I travel with my computer so much. Anyway, that's my excuse and I'm sticking with it! I could not believe how many updates I had to run once all of my software was installed on the new computer. It seemed like every program wanted me to run updates. It was a bit frustrating to say the least. There I was, ready to play with my new "toy" and I was bogged down running updates.
Did you know that the Ukulele originated in Hawaii and is still a very popular instrument there? That makes this also a great gift for anyone who is visiting Hawaii or loves Hawaiian things. Wouldn't it be fun to put a lei and/or some Hawaiian-type treats - maybe something with macadamia nuts - inside?
There will not be any classes this week. I will still be on my way home from the CKC Convention in Lancaster, PA. Since there will not be a class, why not take some time and watch some of the archived classes or just spend time using your Inspiration and making some fun projects.
I feel so blessed to be able to meet all of the wonderful people who own our Pazzles cutters. I have been going to Scrapbook Conventions, CHA and, most recently, retreats for 12 years now! Over the years I have been able to see some of you every year. My one sorrow in not doing conventions anymore was not getting to see my wonderful friends. Now, we have the Pazzles Craft Room! One of the things I love the most about this community of people are the friendships that are being forged.
I am a big believer that the right colors can transform a so-so project in to a FABULOUS project. Some people have a natural gift for putting together colors I would never consider. I, however, tend to be on the safe side sticking with colors that are tried and true and rarely venturing in to new territory. This is NOT something I like about myself but that is simply the way I am wired! I do love to use interesting color palettes, I just don't have the knack for coming up with them myself. That is why I am absolutely in love with the site I am sharing with you today.
