Add a new twist to egg decorating this year by making vinyl stickers for the eggs that are a kind of mask that would prevent color from getting on the area of the egg underneath it.

Have you ever had problems welding items together and have pieces disappear or you want to create pieces that you can get to 'look' right, but they don't cut how you want? I have a hard time wrapping my head around the fact that Easter is almost here! Over here in the west side of the country we've been having chillier weather than normal . In fact we had a heavy snow fall just a few days ago! You can imagine that the weather is making it even harder to put my mind in spring mode! I think however, that this project did the trick for me. This project is so simple and I just love how it turned out.

I have a hard time throwing things away as I’ve probably mentioned before. I will save almost every scrap piece of paper I have. In fact, I have a hefty stack of papers at my desk now that are really piling up. I always like the idea of having scrap pieces of paper for small projects, and they’re always great to have on hand to run test cuts of the files I’ve created.
Do you remember that book about the Berenstain Bears© that taught different positions? IN the box, IN FRONT of the box, BEHIND the box and so on? It was a great way to teach children the position words and their meaning. When it comes to creating designs in the Inspiration Studio you need to know what the position tools are and what they mean.
Spring is in the air! At my house the Daffodils and Tulips are peaking through the soil, the robins are returning and the grass is beginning to turn green. At this time of year I tend to have flowers on the brain. I can't wait to see the first flowers bloom. All of my project ideas seem to feature a flower in them somewhere. We are going to revisit the very important Color Palette this week. We are going to start with the basics and take you through creating your own color palette. We will be working in both the original software that came with your Pazzles and also with the Pro 2010 software. Knowing the color palette will help you with designing, outlining and cutting, so don't miss this. This class is going to be perfect for beginners and advanced alike, so be sure and join us. I am often asked how I know what to do to make a project stand out. Since I am not content to create a page or card and leave it flat; I have an arsenal of ways to add depth and realism to my designs. I always add inking or chalking, layers and other dimensional elements to my project. I am constantly on the look out for new products that can add a fun element to my project. Who doesn’t love a good magic show that has a great disappearing act? However when it comes to looking for things in the software, it is not as much fun searching for icons that disappear. If you ever find that you are on the search for your tool bars that disappear in the software there is a location where you will be able to find all your tool bars.
Have you discovered the Eraser Tool bar? Are you using it or did you think to yourself, "hmm...interesting but I don't think I will use it much". I want to encourage you to think again because those 3 eraser tools can do some pretty amazing things.

Have you ever been cutting a project and all of a sudden the Inspiration will make a shuddering sound and perhaps a “pop” noise that goes along with it?
Proper care of your cutting mat will make it last longer. Did you know that treating your mat correctly starts from the moment you remove it from the package? There are several steps that you should do to ensure that your mat lasts longer and works better for you.
The challenge is GREEN this month. You can interpret that anyway you choose. After you are finished, just post your challenge into the March Challenge Folder. Remember, the challenge is not a contest, it is an opportunity for you to push yourself to use your Pazzles and learn more about it. If you are a beginner, use a shape or do a project to help you feel more comfortable cutting. If you are advanced, I'd love to see you stretch yourself, but of course you are free to do anything you want as long as it is GREEN or has GREEN in it somewhere.

All over the country, kids are celebrating the Birthday of Dr. Seuss. We have been enjoying his books since I was a little girl- which is a REALLY long time ago! The first book I ever read was 'Green Eggs and Ham'. I also have fond memories of reading his silly rhyming books with our kids before bed. (Although, I have to admit that some of them didn't really settle the kids down to sleep!) My grandkids could dress up like Dr. Seuss characters for school today and I was, of course, thrilled when my daughter asked me to help with the costumes.
I have to admit that I’m not much of a phone person. I love the ability texting provides to ask a quick question and get an immediate response. Our designer chat works the same way.
