Halloween Spooky Cemetery Overlay Card

Spooky Cemetery Card

I’ve been really excited watching our Haunted Village come to life. I loved the spooky cemetery so much that I decided to create my own! Whether you need a card, overlay, or spooky invite to your next monster mash, this 15 Minute Project is for you!

Paper crafting for a cause ...

October is National Breast Cancer Awareness Month and we've partnered up with Splitcoaststampers and their Hope You Can Cling To campaign. There will be a new card-making challenge every day on the Splitcoaststampers forum. Cards are going to the MD Anderson Cancer Center at the University of Texas. The program has been a big success in years past, and has brought a lot of happiness to the patients and the people participating.

October Challenge

Did you know that in the Videos section that there is a special section called Project Tutorials? These are project specific tutorials that are for beginners as well as advanced Inspiration users. Well, if you didn't know, now you do and that brings us to this month's challenge.

Haunted Village Part 3: Creatures ...

It has been an exciting process putting together our Haunted Village—I can’t wait to see what pieces we come up with next. We've had fun creating these monsters for you. Chris was making each of the monster noises as she glued them together. The rest of the Pazzles staff has enjoyed playing with our village as well. I know this, because each time I go in to take a quick peek at everything, it’s been rearranged! It got me thinking, if adults are enjoying playing with the Haunted Village I can’t imagine how much fun all the kids are going to have. After all, with projects this cool it kind of turns us all into kids… our office staff is proof!

Quick and Easy “Boo” Banner ...

This started off as a quick 15 minute project but in true Pazzles fashion, it turned out to be much more! We loved these pre-cut canvas shapes from Canvas Corp and knew just what to make with them. We started the project by creating candy corn pieces using Tattered Angels Glimmer Mist and a vinyl masking stencil cut with the Pazzles Inspiration.

Box Flat

Easy Tricks to Make a ...

Have you ever made or received a really cute box that is so nice you want to save it? I just can't bear to part with some of the boxes I have made. I usually store them away in my closet to use another day. I cannot tell you how many times I have pulled a box out only to find it has been crushed or damaged. Paper projects with dimension just don't seem to store well and they take up a lot of space.

Haunted Village Part 2: The ...

I must admit that when we were talking about the Haunted Village, that I put in 'dibs' on the graveyard. I hope you enjoy putting together the graveyard, trees, and fence to add fun to your Haunted Village. I have given you some different epitaphs and names to put on the headstones. Don't forget, you can create your own epitaphs, so be sure to have fun and personalize your project.

Remember to Delight in Simple ...

'Take time to smell the roses.' 'Remember the moments.' I think we all know what those phrases mean but do we really, really ever apply them to our own lives? Yesterday, I was reminded several times what it means to take delight in simple things.

Birthday Celebration Card

It's so much fun to receive a handmade card and know that someone cared enough to spend the time to make it. You can brighten someone's day by making the perfect card using the cut files in the Craft Room Library. Today I'm sharing a card that comes together quickly and can be customized for the person receiving it.

How To Create Perfect Arcs

There are two Arc tools in the Inspiration Studio Software: Arc from Path and Replace with an Arc. Both work essentially the same way. Arc from Path lets you draw a perfect arc wherever you want one. Replace with an Arc will replace a croooked, jagged arc with a nice smooth one. Both are valuable tools when you are creating or correcting a design element.

We will be learning to create our own 'mask' and then etch on a glass or plate. This is a really fun project and is great for gifts. To join, simply go to Klo’s Classroom, then Enter Classroom and sign in as a guest.

Haunted Village: Backdrop

It is no secret that the Halloween season is upon us. Haunted House attractions are springing up in the community, neighbors are stringing spider webs in the yard and costumes are occupying a prime location in the stores. This year we thought it would be fun to create a 3D Halloween Village. Each week, for the next four weeks, you will get another part of the diorama. It will be designed so you can fold it up and store it away for Halloween next year. After you put all the loving details into your project you will definitely want to use it again!

The Adventures of Chris and ...

Most of the time we fly in the afternoon before the show or retreat and head home right after it ends. We see the airport, the meeting room and our hotel room and that is all. Often we don't even go outside the during the three days we are there. This time Klo and I decided to stay an extra day in Washington D.C. and create our own adventure!

Mojo Monday 256 Sketch

Calling All Card Sketches!

For this month's Goodie Bag, I'm talking about one of my absolute favorite resources: card sketches. Don't get me wrong, I love scrapbooking page sketches, especially Becky Fleck's Page Maps (I have both her books and I visit her site all the time) but I find myself relying on card sketches more and more. I'll blame Facebook—I haven't had to remember anyone's birthday in years because it tells me… but not until the day before, so I have to make a card at the last minute! That's when card sketches come in super-handy.
