Light Frame and Reverse Metal Letters

Save your pennies, make your ...

One of the things I love about the Inspiration is that it's powerful enough to emboss and cut through soft metals, like art foils. It can be a bit tricky to master, but once you have it down, you'll be impressed with the range of possibilities! For today's Money-Saving Tip, I'll show you why you never need to buy another pack of metal embellishments, foil letters or sentiments—because you'll be making your own!

Holiday Mugs

Easy Holiday Mugs with Vinyl

A dollar store mug and some vinyl can be transformed into a unique and personalized gift. Fill these mugs with hot chocolate mix or homemade fudge and they would make great teacher or co-worker gifts.

Photo Fun with Pazzles Inspiration ...

'Tis the season for sending holiday cards. Do you have your cards done? Do you make your own cards or buy them? If you have photo cards printed, do you stage a photo for them? I have to admit that I have not started on mine yet but I have some great ideas!

Christmas Ornament Box

A round ornament box that could be filled with candy or a gift. Just fill with candy and tie closed with a ribbon. Imagine the fun of sending the kids to the tree on Christmas day to find their ornament treat!

Holiday Cupcake Gift Box

If you are still feeling stuffed from one too many pieces of pie, we have just the sweet treat for you today. We've whipped up some holiday cupcakes that won't add a single inch to your waistline. These little cupcakes are life-size and can be opened to hold tasty treats or glued together for a decoration. Stick a flag in the top to use as place cards for a holiday party. The cutting file includes paper berries, but we've added pom-poms and rhinestones the berries on our cupcakes. You can also use buttons or brads and make each cupcake unique. Have fun baking up a paper treat!

Mouse and Cheese Hanging Gift ...

A few weeks ago we had you vote on images for this past Friday's release. The top three winners of the online image poll were a scrapbook page, a luminary, and a holiday gift item. We hope you enjoyed the layout page and luminary. These little candy cane mice were added as a holiday gift item.

Vinyl Christmas Tree Advent Calendar Gingerbread House

Take a Second Look: the ...

The ornaments on the Christmas Tree Advent Calendar (released last Friday) are so amazing that I thought they were worth a second look.  Even if you do not follow the Advent tradition you will want to make the ornaments; they are truly mini works of art. Use them as they are or enlarge them. Either way they will be the perfect compliment to a holiday tag, card or gift. It won't take long for you to come up with ways to make them uniquely your own:

Visions of Sugarplums Christmas Baking ...

In a few short weeks Christmas baking will be in full swing. If you have the bug for holiday baking just a bit early, you can start by making paper cookies. These cookies don't need to be made from scratch, we've done all the work for you in our Visions of Sugarplums Collection. This collection is perfect for cards and tags for your holiday goodies and can be used after the holidays to scrapbook your Christmas memories.

Vinyl Christmas Tree Advent Calendar

Christmas Tree Advent Calendar

Thanksgiving is still a week away, but today we put up our Christmas Tree at the Pazzles Office. It's the perfect kind of tree, no falling needles and no need to water it, because it's a vinyl wall tree! We are thrilled to introduce you to our Christmas Tree Advent Calendar. It may seem a little early for a Christmas Tree, but we wanted you to have plenty of time to get this project completed before December 1st. This advent calendar is the perfect project for a weekend of crafting.

Inking and Chalking Tips

Cutting out amazing images in any color, shape and size: isn't that the magic of the Pazzles Inspiration electronic cutter? I can cut paper shapes and combine layers, colors and textures to create a visual feast for the eyes. If you stop with the paper and glue you have a great project. However, if you want an amazing project you need to move beyond the paper. You can add depth and character by inking or chalking the paper to add shadow and highlights. Suddenly, like magic, the flat pieces of paper have curves and dimension.

Pilgrim Hat and Bonnet

Maybe it's just me, but I'm a little partial to miniature things made of paper. These Thanksgiving Pilgrim hats are no exception. I think they are so sweet and I can't wait to make a dozen of them. They would be so cute on each child's plate at the kid's table; a hat for the boys and a bonnet for the girls. Or, attach the hat version to a headband for a fun photo prop.

Cornucopia-Horn-of-Plenty-Angle

Thanksgiving Cornucopia Centerpiece: Part Two, ...

Today we complete the Thanksgiving Cornucopia Centerpiece! Fill your cornucopia to overflowing with a variety of dimensional fruits and vegetables. It will make a beautiful display fit for a grand Thanksgiving dinner.

Thanksgiving Cornucopia Centerpiece: Part 1

For our project this week you can trade in your green thumbs for chalky fingers instead! While most real cornucopias are filled with produce from your gardens, nuts, flowers and other edibles, we've put together a series of creations that will be sure to overfill your Horn of Plenty with delicious paper delights. Start by making the Cornucopia and Wheat this week, then come back next Friday for the rest of the bounty!

Autumn Harvest Collection

This collection pulls together the best of the season in this fall-inspired set of titles, cute characters, beautifully detailed images, and even a dimensional gift box.

Thanksgiving Globe Place Cards

Set one of these at each guest's plate with their name on it, or make a giant one that says Happy Thanksgiving for a decoration. When shaken, the leaves in the globe will move around and fall from the tree.

Make Your Own Tags

You have got to love tags! The are such a simple idea and yet they can add so much to a project. Tags can stand alone on a gift or be the accent to a card or page. They can be made plain and simple out of solid or print cardstock or they can be over-the-top with layers of paper and dimensional flowers. Whether the tag is basic or elaborate they all start with a simple shape. Maybe that is why we love them....they are so uncomplicated.

Candy Corn Bug Bag

Candy Corn Bug Box

You may have seen this cute little Candy Corn Bug in the New Images folder. When I designed him, I immediately knew that I was going to have to include him in a project. He is just too precious to pass by! I backed his wings in vellum to give them a fairy-like feel. This Candy Corn Bug Box project is probably not quite a 15-Minute Project, but it is really close! It depends on how much inking and decorating you want to do.

‘Boo To You’ Halloween Treat ...

A mason jar full of chocolate eyeballs in a cute carrier. If you think your friends are in need of some chocolate eyeballs as well, then this project is for you.

Haunted House Mansion

Haunted Village Part 4: Haunted ...

I have to admit that I am a little sad that this Haunted Village project has come to an end. It has been a lot of fun to work on. The team effort has been worth it and we all want to do group projects more often. It has also made me grow in my dimensional engineering skills!

Halloween Spooky Cemetery Overlay Card

Spooky Cemetery Card

I’ve been really excited watching our Haunted Village come to life. I loved the spooky cemetery so much that I decided to create my own! Whether you need a card, overlay, or spooky invite to your next monster mash, this 15 Minute Project is for you!

Haunted Village Part 3: Creatures ...

It has been an exciting process putting together our Haunted Village—I can’t wait to see what pieces we come up with next. We've had fun creating these monsters for you. Chris was making each of the monster noises as she glued them together. The rest of the Pazzles staff has enjoyed playing with our village as well. I know this, because each time I go in to take a quick peek at everything, it’s been rearranged! It got me thinking, if adults are enjoying playing with the Haunted Village I can’t imagine how much fun all the kids are going to have. After all, with projects this cool it kind of turns us all into kids… our office staff is proof!

Quick and Easy “Boo” Banner ...

This started off as a quick 15 minute project but in true Pazzles fashion, it turned out to be much more! We loved these pre-cut canvas shapes from Canvas Corp and knew just what to make with them. We started the project by creating candy corn pieces using Tattered Angels Glimmer Mist and a vinyl masking stencil cut with the Pazzles Inspiration.

Haunted Villiage with Graveyard, Trees, Headstone, Fence, and Horseless Hearse

Haunted Village Part 2: The ...

I must admit that when we were talking about the Haunted Village, that I put in 'dibs' on the graveyard. I hope you enjoy putting together the graveyard, trees, and fence to add fun to your Haunted Village. I have given you some different epitaphs and names to put on the headstones. Don't forget, you can create your own epitaphs, so be sure to have fun and personalize your project.
